Semi-gloss enameled surface is easy to clean by either placing a few ice cubes or pouring small amount of water onto a hot griddle & gently scraping away residue. Compatible with spirit & spirit II 2 & 3 burner gas grills (replaces one cooking grate).Never submerge your griddle in water when it is hot.

This works so well on the Weber grill. Think of all the money you will save from going to hibachi night! The big plus on this you can leave on your grill all the time because it only takes up 1/2 the grill space. You can grill your hamburger buns to give them texture or cook hibachi with built in drain. You will not regret this purchase totally worth the price and convenience it brings.

The griddle fit my Spirit II grill perfectly ... pull-out the right half of the existing grate and replace it with the griddle. Easy! A great way to cook veggies, eggs, pancakes and anything else that would fall through a normal BBQ grate. Not as easy to clean as a grate (you must wait for it to cool and remove it for a thorough cleaning) while a grate only needs to be brushed. A little pricey, but recommended.

It is VERY weighty, about 15 lbs. It is cast iron with a thick coating of enamel for easy cleaning. I'll use it to stir fry or grill shrimp, fish, veggies or fajitas, anything that normally falls through the slots or sticks to the grill. I use a vegetable oil sprayer to lightly coat the food and the surface of the griddle just before putting the food on it.Just spray with water after use (wait about 5-10 minutes for the surface to cool a bit) then scrape with a nylon or silicone scraper, wipe with a damp cloth and it should come out fairly clean until you can wash it with warm soapy water as you would with a le creuset or stab cast iron skillet. Dry completely and store in a cool dry place. It will keep it looking like new.OR, you can deglaze to clean using a bit of white wine which will loosen any hard burnt on food, then scrape and wash as above once the pan has cooled off. Highly recommend you wash it after each use to prevent burnt on build up.I initially debated buying a separate propane griddle, but this fits perfectly on my Weber Spirit II gas grill and I usually cook for 2-4 people so it's the perfect solution at a great price.Hope this helps.

Mainly used for grilling veggies which has been a huge upgrade from tinfoil pouches and grill baskets that sit on top of the grates. Grilled the best peppers and onions ever!

I know I should have read the description more closely, but I was surprised to find out this is porcelain-enamel-coated cast-iron like your Le Creuset or Staub pots and pans. I guess I just got to the that first line that said "Material: Cast-iron" and didn't read farther. *facepalm* I was expecting a cast-iron griddle more like a cast-iron skillet. The porcelain-enamel coating necessitates more cleaning (actual washing which is a bit unwieldy) and you have to be more careful with the surface of the griddle. You're not going to be able to treat this like you would your cast-iron skillet, your carbon-steel pans, or steel surface of a "Blackstone". It's not going to "season" and you're not going to be scraping those "smashburgers" off the surface with a heavy, metal spatula. However, it does do what they claim it does. You're not going to reach the temps on your Spirit II with this griddle as you would on your Blackstone, but this is great for someone like me who doesn't have enough room for both. Just use plenty of fat/oil and you won't have a problem with sticking and cleanup won't be that bad.

Quality product as always from Weber. Solid and built to last. Easy to clean, to put in and take out. Heats nice and evenly. Personally I like steak and eggs for breakfast. So now I can grill a steak and do the eggs all on the grill. Let's not forget great for bacon too. And of course, sauté vegetables. Nothing like peppers and onions ready to go with your grilled sausage. Highly recommend, especially for the price!

Great product and if you own a Weber grill this is a great addition. I will say if you own a 200 series your grilling space gets pretty small. But as a flat top it's great to use for sides or delicate foods. Drains easy and is quality and solid as should be expected. It will take a bit of time to learn your heat zones and temp control again as this is a big piece of metal, but its great.

I think it to expensive but in the long run its worth it. I have been using it for 3 weeks and i got it seasoned pretty good now and it works great. I use butter or olive oil to cook most things. I clean it as soon as im done with a squirt bottle of water and scrape it with a high temp plastic spatula then wipe it off with paper towels. Do that five or six times and it starts to get a good non stick season on it. Happy grillin.

I am of two minds on this griddle. I really like it. I have been using it almost constantly since I installed it for breakfast/lunch/dinner. It cleans easily with a spray of water and a flat edge (I bought a metal 5" putty knife just for cleaning) sears evenly and overall is excellent. However, the size of this thing pisses me off. Weber decided to cheap out on the tooling and made this for both 2 and 3 burner Spirit models. I have a 3 burner Spirit. These BBQs are larger than their two burner cousins so to make it fit both they size it for the smaller BBQ. To make it fit they add this silly flange to fill space on the larger models. So now I spent money on the larger BBQ but can only get accessories to fit the smaller size. Entirely defeats the point of the larger BBQ. You also can't use 2 griddles due to airflow issues, but that flange is taking space that could be used to allow airflow on larger model. It's disappointing that Weber decided to cheap out on their customers that spent more on their BBQ.
