we purchased a weber grill a few years ago; a 22 inch kettle style, and we purchased a cover for it. it was less expensive than the next least expensive cover, but I thought it would be fine. I was wrong. within a year, it was tearing, and the lack of heft caused it to be less likely to stay on the grill; even when it was strapped to the grill. we have only had this one for a few days, but it has been breezy, and we haven't used the strap to strap it to the grill yet, and it is staying on the grill. it is a much better product, and worth the higher price tag, especially when compared to the cheaper priced gray one that is often advertised as an option.

This is a durable cover. We have the same fabric on our gas grill cover. After 3 years it is still perfect and has been outdoors. Spend the extra money. The cover that costs less lasted only 1 year and tore at the top, that is why we bought this one.

It was packed tightly in the box and I was concerned it wouldn't fit but it fits perfectly and looks like original cover.

Nice cover, thick fabric. Make sure you use the velcro straps to secure it. I lost my old one during a heavy wind.

Only just received it so not sure about durability as yet but material looks strong durable and is lightweight and comes with a handy top handle for lifting on and off and a velcro tie at the bottom to secure it to your BBQ to help stop it blowing awayðŸ‘

First of all, poo poo Weber. I bought their grill and it had the old grey cover, which looks great but easily blows off with a gust of wind. WHAT THEY HAY IT IS AN OUTDOOR COVER. Anyways after it finally blew who knows where and was found at the a neighbors a few months later I called Weber, and they basically told me "too bad, but we can sell you this good one that fixes that issue for way too much money."Okay end-rant. Amazon came to the rescue and I was able to buy THIS genuine Weber product for much less total cost to myself. It has a handle on top, so it is easy to lift off, and at the bottom a Velcro strip that you can use to attached the cover to BBQ near the wheel. Those two simple features make this cover great. The material still seems just like new (mint), and the "Weber" logo looks just as crisp as the day it came out of the box. I also got a Weber Smokey Mountain cooker this summer and the cover that came with it matches this one perfectly, so now I have two that match. Anyway with respect to this cover I'm happy with my purchase, not happy with Weber (simply because if they fix a known issue with a product, they should provide a little bit of support to customers who are negatively affected by said issue). If you need this and can afford it buy it. ;)
