Incredibly fluorescent lighting. It is VERY bright. Definitely for events.I wanted to use it inside the house as a cute lamp, but warm white is going to be your only option here. If you're having an event and you're using this as a light, not for decoration, then definitely get the cool white. You will be able to see across a football field with it.Does not come with instructions, but I wish it did.

I love the overall look of this lamp though it really looks better in a festive situation than in a home, I feel. I wanted to use it in my office to keep me cheered up in winter but it's a little TOO cheerful (bright) for me. The lamp is easy to set up and the lighting is fun, the fabric is mostly just a netting with some embellishment but it still looks very nice, especially if you are using it in a wedding etc. I feel for the overall quality the price is a bit on the high side. Surely $100 (or less) would be adequate for a basic metal lamp and metal structure with some glittery netting.
