I am 5'9" and ordered a 3X. I purchased this dress for a cruise. I loved the sleeves because they were flowing, but covered my upper arms. It was very comfortable and made well. Very happy with my purchase.

My husband ordered this dress for me. I am 5'4", pear shaped, have had 2 kids, and he got me the Pink in size M. I would not have ordered this for myself, and I rolled my eyes when I opened the package. It was pink, with sequins, and lace, and dangling sleeves - my initial thought was it would be way too gaudy. However - it is much much prettier than I expected. The sleeves are unique and eye catching and do not get in the way, like I would have thought. I like the high neckline. The pink is very pretty and the sequins do not snag and there are not too many of them. My issue with the dress is that it is not as long as I would like, as I would prefer something that covers my knees. Also, the cut of the dress is not super flattering on my pear shape, but the sleeves do help to draw the attention upward. It is an easy dress to wear, very soft, and feminine. The medium is not 'tight' per se, but even getting a larger size isn't going to have the dress suite my pear shape, in my opinion.

ONLY the color didn't work for me---but the dress is beautiful, fits exactly the way it should and covers minor flaws of my body and upper arms, (as I am retirement age,) I'm slim an in good shape, but I have the same flaws many women my age do, and it flowed over them beautifully!!! I would definitely give this dress a "10"-- I just needed more color for the event. The designer of this dress truly UNDERSTANDS A MATURE WOMANS NEEDS IN AN ELEGANT FORMAL DRESS! IT graciously covers the upper arm issues, and gently flows over your body so "mid waist flab" around the waist/back isn't revealed, barely apparent at all! The designer "GETS" US!!!
