Compression rivets, also known as speedy rivets or rapid rivets, are excellent to be used in clothing, luggage, bags, shoes and textile applications.
Rapid rivets come in two pieces: a stem and a cap and are easy to install. First, punch/cut/drill a hole in each part; then, push the cap through the hole and insert the stem; place the rivet on a firm surface; finally, hit the rivet lightly with a hammer or use a rivet press tool. The impact/pressure will compress the cap and stem (hence, “compression rivet”) to securely the material.

I really liked this product. However there was no directions with item to apply item to fabric over leather. So I like the product but still ain't figured out how to apply them. So rather dramatically decreases their value to me.

The stone is much darker blue than turquoise. It isn't light blue and you can't see the black markings. If you need a turquoise look this isn't it. Overall, I will use them for something else since I needed something specific for my project.
