I recently used the Weedless Wacky Rig Hooks in my last fishing tournament, and they worked perfectly! The hooks were sharp, strong, and held up incredibly well against the fish. These are my go-to for wacky rig. They get the work down quicker but still has great action.My only complaint is that the weed guard could be a hair stronger, however it still does great with light vegetation. The flat surface also makes small soft baits stand at an angle and works great with smell minnows and smaller craw baits.Love them!

These are great for wacky rigs but even better for rigging up creature baits like the Geecrack Cur Bomb. Super sharp hooks.

Works for the most part with a wacky rig setup, but I would suggest you either trim the weed guard back just a hair to avoid getting in the way of hooking up, or bend the guard closer to the hook or further away playing with it until you find what works best for you. Once you do, you should have a pretty flawless jig head style wacky rig setup. One must keep in mind that there are several different wacky rig styles out there and that these are specifically going to be your jig head style wacky rig. These are not just weedless wacky rig hooks, they are weighted jig head hooks, and therefore, cannot be fished with a dropshot rig, or weightless wacky rig because they are weigted weedless jig head hooks. As long as you know, and understand what you are buying here, then they should absolutely work out great for your jig head style wacky rig to be weedless. I personally bought the wrong size by accident, and not paying attention, and ended up with the biggest size, 3/16 oz (5.25g), when I really meant to get the 1/16 oz (1.8g) smallest size. But that is my fault for not paying attention to what I had selected after playing with the drop down menu and viewing the different sizes. I could see myself possibly buying more of these in the future, and would recommend these to anyone looking for a good weedless jig head setup because I would assume these could be used with different fishing techniques and not just a wacky rig.
