These help some but you still are going to get callouses. They are beneficial if you got them to cover old callouses that are severe or tearing. Since they fit to your hand you get a clean smooth fit and unlike gloves you don't have to worry about them bunching up cause pain to my existing callouses. I like the fact that they are open allowing your hands to breathe cutting down on hand sweat. Other than that I don't really see a difference in my grip on the bar.

Mainly got these to help with pull ups. I find that my hands slip on the bar and it makes me have to focus too much on holding the bar and not the back exercise. I used to wrap a broken rubber band around them, but this seemed a bit easier and actually made for the purpose. It definitely helps to grip the bar better than a bare hand. They are also super easy to use. Great for deadlifts as well where some extra holding strength is helpful. I do feel like they could be slightly wider in order to contact a little more of the bar. But overall I'm happy with them and will continue to use.

I have only used this 1 time but really a game changer. No gloves to put on and take off, just place between your finger and get to work. I love this!!!
