I was not expecting the weight to be in a blanket like this. This is insane, and it is all sectioned and sown into each little pouch of the blanket - so you keep it evenly distributed in the blanket. I ordered the king size, 20 lb. And man does this really weight a ton! It takes some getting used to for sure. I do notice it will make it harder for someone to toss and turn or move around a whole bunch. I am not one who tends to move around much when I sleep, but this just makes it so I get in bed in that position and stay that same way until I wake up. Lol, my kids have a hard time pulling the covers up over them - so keep this in mind and should be supervised with age appropriate of course. Not a blanket you would put over an infant or a child under the age of 8... maybe even 10. It's pretty heavy blanket. Nice, soft, but very very heavy.
