I have purchased one of these on a SnapOn truck years ago. I have mainly used this brush in automotive applications. Cleaning off surfaces on an engine block for oil pans, valve covers, etc. I am thrilled to find out that this brand is sold on Amazon. This brush is the of the highest quality I have seen. Sure it’s a bit pricey but I think it’s worth every penny. Last one I purchased lasted me about 2 years.

I bought this to use with my air die grinder to clean aluminum engine parts. It worked very well for that job -- it stripped off old paint, grease, etc. and would work well to remove old gasket material, and it did not hurt the aluminum surface. It is a soft brush -- much softer than bigger wire or knotted brushes. It probably won't do much against heavy rust, scale, etc. but that's not why I bought it.In my die grinder it did fling wires, which in my experience they all do, so be sure to wear proper eye protection at a minimum.

This is a great brush for soft parts like aluminum. Cleans and will polish. Very fine wire so it won't scratch. I use it on a die-grinder but could be used on a drill or drill press at high speed. Recommended

Be sure to wear good eye protection. The wire flies out every time I try using it

This is the best fine high speed brush I have used. I clean parts with it and it works fantastic.

solid attachment with no issues. Works well on cleaning softer metal, does not remove a lot of material, great as a finish cleaner. I will be ordering the same design with the thicker wire for heavier cleaning.

I use these to remove silicone sealant from engine covers. The thin bristles flatten out into more of a wheel shape (at high rpm) and they take the sealant off without even scratching the paint on painted covers. Also, if you want to get some surface rust off of parts without really digging into the material, these are the wire wheels to have.

This wire wheel claims to be rated at 22,000 rpm, my tool is 18,000 max. The first and only time I used this it lost all its wires as they flew out of it. Absolute junk.
