If you're like me you have a plastic shower head, which contains the female part of a ball joint. This is connected onto a metal male ball joint part that is on the end of the water pipe coming out of the shower wall. A problem is that most plumber's lubricants nowadays consists of silicone grease.When you use silicone grease to lubricate that show head ball joint, it simply softens the plastic female ball joint part and causes it to stick rather than moving freely.This product works like a charm on such a patially plastic shower head ball joint. It does not soften the plastic and the ball joint/shower head moves freely.

I used this product to lubricant rubber seals and it worked like magic, it renewed the seals to original condition.I will definitely keep this item in my tool bag!

If you have door hinges, you should get some Slik Seal. So, so, so much better than graphite (which tends to work its way out of the hinges and then stain anything nearby that's painted), and lasts a long time. Also helped tremendously with a squeaky threshold where the plastic of the threshold was rubbing against the wooden quarter round in front of it. Love this stuff and would never want anything else for hinges especially.

I gave this a 5 star rating because I just received it and put some on a metal hose nozzle. I will adjust the rating accordingly as I see how well it works.But just as some of the other reviewer's have mentioned, I was surprised at how small the actual tin container is. So I put a quarter next to it for comparison. It is almost laughably small. It came with a few other items and if I had not been looking for it, I might have accidentally thrown it out. Hopefully it does a good job for the price and size. To be continued....
