These were exactly as pictured. A standard push pin with a clear ball, they're made well & clear enough to see through or at least past without being a distraction. Perfect for vision boards as it gave them the perfect amount of flair!

I got rid of bulky frames and went old-school on a plaster wall with these push pins. A little tough on the thumbs, but they look great and a small hammer works just fine as a back up.

Great short pins. Work well in my cork board and decent in my vinyl wall panel. Pin portion can bend a little going into very solid materials (drywall), but not easy to bend and can be bent back into alignment without breaking. Clear tops stay on well, I haven't had any fall off yet, which makes these higher quality than others I've had, esp for the price. Look very nice, while remaining subtle and not gaudy to detract from the items you're tacking.Would re-buy when I need more pins.

I bought these pins to secure monks cloth to my set of Edmund's Stretcher Bars so that I could make a punch needle pillow. The pins are both beautiful and strong, but they didn't work well for my project. Read the Cons section to learn why.Pros:1. Thicker than traditional thumbtacks. That makes them ideal to secure a variety of items to a cork board or mat for a physical "mood board."2. Beautiful design. The large round head comes in a pearl color and faceted design makes the pins easy to grip, while the gold plating adds protection as well as an upscale look. I think they'll make great accents for large ball ornaments.3. Comes in a sturdy plastic storage box.Cons:1. Not made for pinning fabric or paper to hard wood (such as the Edmund's stretcher bars). One of the pins got bent.2. Doesn't work well with monks cloth because you can't create the drum-tight tension that is essential for punch needling. You're better off using a staple gun to make your canvas.3. Not sure if they're waterproof, so I wouldn't use them to steam block crochet motifs.

Nice and classic; I think. And I like things to look organized, I did have a variety of different colors and styles, cluttery looking. Like these very much.
