I had a cheaper deheader, a component of which bent on the very first use. I replaced it with this deheader. This machine performed perfectly. It is well worth the extra money I paid for it. Don't waste your time with the cheaper ones!

Used this item less than 10 times and the handle broke. I would not recommend.

Functions very well. But I had to add some washers to adjust the blade position and orientation. Instructions are not good enough.

I bought the Wesco 440013 Heavy Duty Deheader based on the good reviews, and it delivered as promised. Did a very smooth cut on heavy steel drums, so I did not have to do any deburring. The trick is to get the blade fairly tight against the inside edge. Took about 5 minutes to dehead one drum (actually, I cut out the bottom so I can pull the bungs whenever I want drainage, but will hold liquid otherwise.)

I’ve had this tool for more than two years had no trouble cut out three or 4000 Barrels One blade will cut out about 1000 barrels. Will be buying one more soonI don’t know why you’re had trouble with this tool it’s the best on the market today. About ready to get me a new one I’m 65 years old and can cut out 40/45 per hour. It really take less than one minute to cut one barrel.
