Westbrass was founded in 1935 by two brothers, to serve the needs of all plumbing wholesalers on the West Coast. The product lines at the time included items such as faucets, valves, malleable fittings, etc. After becoming the premier distributor of plumbing products, the company was bought in 1985 by Max Homami. Seeing a boom in the Home Improvement Industry, Mr. Homami had a vision to make Westbrass the leader in Kitchen & Bath Accessories.
The company currently manufactures its own products made of the highest quality materials. The Westbrass D201-62 1-5/8" x 2-1/4" Soild Brass Air Gap Cap Only, Non-Skirted, Matte Black arrived on time, it was packaged well and undamaged. It was as described by the seller, it was easy to install and fits perfectly.

This replaced a cracked plastic Air Gap Cap. This has a nice weight to it and fits exactly.

Good value. Wasn't sure what "satin nickel" finish would be, and it didn't exactly match our brushed nickel hardware, but it's close enough. Fits tighter than the original, but I was able to put it on and take it off a couple of times, so no problem.

Solid metal with excellent chrome finish. Fits tightly and looks great. Shoulda replaced my cap years ago but I didn't know these things were available.
