Accurate, good little ruler, bought it for an art class. But oh my god why did the Amazon delivery driver ring the doorbell when delivering this at 4:30 in the morning??? I wasn't having some kind of measurement based emergency. I guess if you really need to tell if something is at a 45 degree angle at 5am then Amazon prime has your back LOL

Thin ruler for notes that can double as a bookmark.

The Good - This little ruler / protractor is surprisingly accurate! I wasn't expecting too much for the price, just wanted it as a general sketching tool, but then it helped me discover that my $100+ precision carpentry square wasn't really "square" after all. I couldn't believe it at first, but then I went and checked it on a machinist's precision reference square and sure enough, my expensive square wasn't 'square' and the sub-$2 ruler was not only square, but also more accurate. The (very minor) negative - This thing would be a grand-slam if the increments were in 16ths of an inch, rather than 10ths of an inch (which is neither metric nor SAE / imperial). Even if it was metric it would be okay, but 10ths of an "inch" are really only useful to a draftsman (machinists measure in 1000ths).Anyway, very handy little ruler for all kinds of stuff, so I highly recommend!

This is a convenient device for measuring angles and small lengths. I got this to throw in my to-go box of drawing and sketching tools. The only downsides are 1 - the markings are printed, not etched so, it'll wear off eventually, and 2 - it's difficult to read because the device is so small. But, size, weight, price are what makes this so good. (My pic has shadowing & isn't the best - printed markings are nice & sharp.) It's for occasional use, not daily heavy duty use. All in all, a good buy.

It's good, cheap and convenient for carrying around to engineering school and drawing free body diagrams. It is kind of soft and flexible. However, it does crack so it is not at all that flexible enough to withstand regular abuse. That's annoying because I had to replace this several times. I now keep it in a hard pencil case, so it's fine.

This is a great portable ruler that also function as a book mark as it is super thin. I dont' do engineering work with it, but use it for general journaling. I don't think I can get a better portable ruler than this. Buy it!

I initially bought this tool because I glanced at it without checking measurements and then misread the price as being in the $12 range. When it arrived, I laughed at my error: I thought I was buying something to help cut 2 meter long leather hides at an appropriate angle. However this is the perfect tool for me when I’m sketching out designs in one of the many journals I am constantly carrying around and doodling in.About the same dimensions (and a tiny bit thicker) than a cheap bookmark, I highly recommend it to anyone fond of journaling.

love the ease of use, and the functionality. had given my original one away because people in my class really liked it. bought another which my kids bent unfortunately, and it left a white shaded area in the middle... but thats not the products fault. could be a tad thicker but otherwise, no complaints.

It's really good to see in the picture as it looks really handy in one ruler, but when it came.. I am disappointed with the material as it is so thin (unsure the durability) and quite small - not the length though, but the overall for a ruler is $10 - I might need to reconsider buying it.

This ruler is the most fragile ruler that I have ever held. I would not bother with it, as it can snap so easily.

This is probably one of the flimsiest rulers ever. Was expecting much better quality and if it was 30cm even better

Hands down my favourite daily use ruler. I've lost one and replaced it with two more. Great for technical sketching in parametric & dimetric; perfect for drawing offset lines in perspective using the printed grid as reference, the ultra-fine grid makes "not hitting a reference point" nearly impossible. The ability to have a functional protractor and ruler, where lines carry out to the rulers edge is invaluable in a single tool, no guesswork or connecting the dots required. After reading some of the negative reviews- the edge is perfectly straight, hold it down with two fingers while drawing and you'll be just fine.No this isn't a heavy gage stainless steel, cork backed straightedge. No this isn't an architectural scale divider. No this isn't a super heavy duty tool.No it isn't a 30 cm straightedge (just as the product details spell out)This is a 10$, multifunctional piece of plastic.Yes it might arrive creased, just as any thin piece of plastic shipped in a paper envelope might; my firs one did- bend it back, or send it back. If I had to offer one criticism, it's that it may smudge your sketches if you aren't careful, but adding a lifted cork backing would defeat the purpose of a transparent ruler. Can't recommend this enough!
