I own a Chevy Silverado 1500, and I'm driving back East. I tend to keep my things as clean as possible and thought keeping bugs from ruining my truck would be a good thing.Not having a lot of money, I chose the Wade 72-91138 Smoke Platinum Bug Shield. This product fits both my budget and needs.Shipping (USPS) proved to be a bit of an issue, but was easily overcome.Once in my hands, I found the package undamaged, with all parts and instructions included.It literally took me 5 minutes with the only tool required: 1 Phillips head screwdriver. Simple instructions for a simple task.The only thing I would re emphasize is the need to not over tighten the screws. There's no need to. The hood closed (and latched) provide the security from the shield "falling off." The screws merely keep it centered.Fits like a glove.I would definitely recommend this product for price, quality, and purpose.

Good price! Plug and play! Looks good. I've had it less than a month. Been through 1 car wash and held up. Probably as good as the more expensive ones.

I wanted something to protect the top of the hood from rock chips and other road debris. Someone suggested this kind of shield, but I was worried that it might look like something my grandpa would use along with his pocket protectors. :-) This one is very modern and sleek. It's specifically shaped for this model of truck and has a tight, form-fitting design. It looks modern and reduces wind sound compared to the older styles. I'm thrilled with this product!

This product had bad connector parts and the instructions are horrible. Took it to a professional shop to have them install it and they showed me the bad parts and that it would not fit my 2016 chevy silverado 1500. They looked the item up online and it says it should fit but it doesn't. I had to be in the hospital for 3 weeks and after rehab it has sat in my garage in the box. Then I was 2 days past the final return date so I'm out $100. I had the shop install a Westin and it fits perfectly and looks awesome. Bad customer service.

Like other reviews say, the screws are short. I took the washers off and the screws fit fine thereafter. Took less than 5 mins to put on. Had it for about 7 months so far and it still looks and hold up. Have used mostly at highway speeds in all weather. Also have run through the full touch auto washes many times without fail. I’d recommend. Looks nice too

I own a 2018 Crew Cab Silverado. This deflector fit perfectly. Some things you should know... The outer edges are flush to the outside of the truck body. They do not extend past the body. This deflector screws into the underside of the hood using 4 screws and washers provided. The deflector has slots molded into it to accommodate the screw fitting to the left or right a few inches. Screw into pre existing holes in the hood. No drilling is required. The only tool needed is a Phillips. I've read a few reviews where some people were unhappy because the deflector they received had a imperfect or marred finish. The one I received was perfect. I took 5 minutes to install it. I'd buy it again...

I installed the shield about a month ago. As I still think bras look cleaner, this shield has a nice clean look to it. There are no logos so I do not feel like I'm advertising, but if someone asks, I tell 'em it's a Wade. It also goes well with the Wade in-channel window deflectors. While it was pretty easy to install, I do wish that Wade added a clearer line or blurb in the instructions that the shield tabs are to be sandwiched by the weatherstripping and hood surface.
