Made in china. The blade is not stainless, it is plated and the plating in peeling off after less than 10 uses. Do not buy the chinese replacement blades sold on Amazon, they are not actually stainless, just plated garbage.

I don't know if the blade is just to flimsy or it doesn't get tight enough but it immediately starts cutting about 20° off and even when you tilt the saw aggressively against the cut it refuses to correct. Ended up using a sawzall because I needed to split a beef in half. Couldn't even get it to cut strait in the shanks so again, used the sawzall. I don't recommend this saw.

This thing is a beast. Next to a recip saw it chain saw this has got to be the best thing I've used to cut through bone.

Not sure why some people say it doesn't cut straight or doesn't cut at all... This is a great saw for the price. It worked well on a white tail deer. Cuts any bones in seconds. I got a 22" one and it's good for hunting camp or backyard but I wouldn't suggest it for people that have to use it at home. Get a shorter one if you have limited work space.

The meat saw was well packaged. The saw is easy to use as the handle is ergonomic in design resulting in less fatigue on the wrist. The saw cuts very easily. It is sturdy and well made. The directions on box are very useful when having to remove the blade.
