I bought an RV for the first time last Fall and someone had wired a 220v plug on the main electrical cord. Not having a manual and being a stupid novice, I plugged it in to a 220v outlet. Well, I saw smoke coming from an old tv that was plugged in and realized I’d screwed up majorly. It was, of course, a 110v system. However, the original WFCO voltage converter/ breaker and fuse panel protected all the appliances and generator exceptionally well. The voltage converter and TV were toast but everything else , including the house batteries and all the outlets were spared. I replaced the WFCO converter with this new unit and everything worked as new. It was easy to install and has worked flawlessly ever since. It was a $200 lesson but it could have been much, much worse.

Easy installation, good quality. I blew the other board when I plugged it into 220 like moron. It was an 8955 “55amp†my camper is 30amp so to save money I ordered the 8935 “35ampâ€. Works great, im going to keep a spare on hand from now on. If one gives out, its a 10 minute replacement

I took a chance based on other reviews and found it replaced my WF-8835 well. It's a little smaller in size and the main wires are on the other side, but it fit properly and I was easily able to wire it into the panel. Works great!

I never thought that this convertor/transformer would do the trick. I had checked everywhere and every electrical connection and no power. One test outlined in operators' instruction book had us do a continuity check. The amp meter showed nothing. We took a wild shot and order the transformer which is also a switch opening and converting 110 to 14 VDC. Connected it, which was very simple, threw the 30 AMP breaker flipped on the RV breakers and there was power.The best part was very fast shipping from the company. It arrived 8 days earlier then it said it might.

About to take a trip across country and discovered the converter was out. Shop word me$500 minimum to fix and it would be weeks post my trip departure. Order this and saved myself at least $300. The only difficult part was removing the old main power wire from the old board. A lil patience with the soldering iron and I got it out. I couldn’t be happier with this product.

My RV inside trailer lights were blinking on & off. A friend told me to replace the main board. I ordered the WF-8935 which is the original main board. It was easy to replace, just have to take your time. All the lights work well, problem solved.

Great item, perfect fit, even for lower rated converters- my trailer only had the 20 amp version and this one slid right into place.Takes up all the space now, though. It seems a lot quieter than the old one as well. As always-fast shipping with Amazon. My RV dealer had claimed the board was not available seperately....The original board had burned out due to a screw that found it's way from the housing to the bottom of the circuit board.The installer at the manufacturer apparently thought that 4 screws 1/2 inch screwd into particle board are enough to hold the heavy converter in place. Not if you travel gravel roads.....There might be a reason the housing has 8 pre drilled holes. However, I can't see me needing another one of these boards any time soon. Looks very well build.

bought for a WFCO power center, the label on the power center said it was 35amp, after receiving the new converter went to change it out and found it contained a 55 amp converter. Bought the trailer brand new from dealer.Returned the 35 and got the 55amp. Easy to install and works good. Wish I would have pulled the converter out and double checked the amps otherwise very happy

Wanted to put the 55 amp one in. I chicken out as I did not know if it would fit.Very small box in 2010 Komfort. Put the 35 Amp one in.Take the base off the new power supply and it is an exact fit into my box.Hook up the wires and I was good to go.The Worldfriend ship box is poorly designed,so cut some holes to aid in venting and cooling heat sink.Hopefully this will aid the new one not to fail.Everything is working good now.

I very much appreciated being able to obtain an effectively identical unit to the original, when the original was nearly 15 years old. It seems to operate just as the original did, and we were very happy with it.
