There is definitely a learning curve to properly setting one of these up. Hookup is fast and easy but tuning it is a lot of trial and error. It was my first one so it was mostly error but several tube videos later I got it dialed in perfectly. I used it to replace a mechanical governor that was no longer available new or used,
