I’ve always loved this book so now that I have a daughter obviously I purchased it for her but it seems this is a different version of the book I grew up with? There are minor but noticeable changes such as the original says “it stopped raining†and this version says “the rain is stoppingâ€. Also, it says “violet†instead of “purple†and misses the word COLORS on the last page.Very confused… anyone else notice this?Will be returning.

My oldest daughter was gifted this book as a child and both kids loved it, so I purchased a copy for my 1st great neice. She's still a bit young for it as the ribbons can be pulled free of the book, ruining the effect of the whole book, but I am sure she will enjoy the colorful pictures and the growing rainbow ribbons throughout the book. A must have for a young child's library!
