  • It's rarely mentioned, but Jesus had a great sense of humor. One reason the sermon on the mount went over so well is that he opened with a few real zingers. At the Last Supper, his impression of Pontius Pilate as a donkey made wine come out Bartholomew's nose. So we'd like to think Jesus would get a kick out of this What Would Jesus Wear Magnetic Dress Up Kit. It features a large magnet in the likeness of Jesus and a large assortment of magnetic clothing and accessories.
  • You can dress J.C. in anything from traditional garb (white robe, cross) to surfer dude (tie-dyed shirt and surfer shorts). There are also loads of props such as loaves, fishes, chalices, hats, and tools from his carpenter years. Yep, we're sure Jesus has a sense of humor. If not, we're in a LOT of trouble.
  • MIX AND MATCH - Includes dozens of pieces for nearly limitless options. Each set promises hours of enjoyment on your refrigerator. The magnets are also strong enough to hold up life's most important documents (Math tests, dentist appointments, overdue bills) in style.
  • MEASURES - Approximately 7.5" x 12". It has a total of two sheets, including all accessories. It's fun, funny, and educational. The magnet set makes a great gift. We have many other sets available, check them out.
  • FROM THE UNEMPLOYED PHILOSOPHERS GUILD - Don't worry. We are employed, just not as philosophers. We're a small, Brooklyn based company specializing in gifts for the sophisticated gift giver. For whatever you need, we have presents of mind.

Brought to You by The Unemployed Philosophers Guild
The origins of the Unemployed Philosophers Guild are shrouded in mystery. Some accounts trace the Guild's birth to Athens in the latter half of the 4th century BCE. Allegedly, several lesser philosophers grew weary of the endless Socratic dialogue endemic in their trade and turned to crafting household implements and playthings. (Hence the assertions that Socrates quaffed his hemlock poison from a Guild-designed chalice, though vigorous debate surrounds the question of whether it was a "disappearing" chalice.)
Others argue that the UPG dates from the High Middle Ages, when the Philosophers Guild entered the world of commerce by selling bawdy pamphlets to pilgrims facing long lines for the restroom. Business boomed until 1211 when Pope Innocent III condemned the publications. Not surprisingly, this led to increased sales, even as half our membership was burned at the stake.
More recently, revisionist historians have pinpointed the birth of the Guild to the time it was still cool to live in New York City's Lower East Side. Two brothers turned their inner creativity and love of paying rent towards fulfilling the people's needs for finger puppets, warm slippers, coffee cups, and cracking up at stuff.

It is actually good quality, though I purchased it as a gag gift. It brought lots of laughs.Highly recommended unless you are one of those religious people without a sense of humor.

Jesus is different daily. We love it! Great quality, fun parts, and kids fight over the “daily attire.”

Who knew Jesus was so ecumenical in his wardrobe? Excellent quality. Jesus would certainly approve.

This is a hilarious item. I actually gifted it to my hardcore religious mother (she's catholic, goes to church everyday, ect.). Anyways, I was hesitant she might take offense but she laughed so hard when she opened her gift. Obviously I made her put it on the refridgerator ASAP, she had Jesus rocking the "God Guns & Guts Made America Free" shirt, "JC" hat, and sweats; it was great.Got some religious friends? I'd recommend using this as a white elephant gift with that group of people and/or throw it up in the youth room at church. Also acts as a silly house-warming gift for religious family/friends.WARNING: Over-sensitive people may take offense. Would not recommend giving it to them.

Bought as a joke for an atheist friend, but her family has a lot of fun dressing up “the J man.” Her husband changes it every morning before work, and she and her daughter change it before he comes home. It brings them a good laugh each day. Her daughter likes to dress him in the sheep’s outfit, my friend likes the track suit, and my favorite part is the bling with “WWID”. I took a star off because when she was punching out all of the magnets, the design paper separated from the sunglasses, so now they just have a plain magnet in the shape of sunglasses. It doesn’t bother them, but since it was a gift that took a while to arrive, I wasn’t quite expecting it to come apart so soon.

I bought the What Would Jesus Wear as a gift for my mom for her ordination, along with the Jesus action figure and dashboard Jesus. Yes, I'm *that* daughter. The whole family laughed hysterically at the WWJW magnets - especially the track suit and necklace that says "WWID" on it - fabulous. Oh, and the God, Guns & Guts tshirt with capri pants! I only wish the shirt had said "Dad, Guns & Guts".Great quality. Great gift. Hours of laughs.

Loved completely. I thought I recognized the name of the Unemployed Philosophers Guild. Then I remembered, a billion years ago (the 90's), I bought the coolest gift for my brother atthe Union Square Christmas kiosk kind of thing in NYC. A pillow with the image of the paintingThe Scream, complete with a scream feature when you pressed on it. Genius. It's still in my family. The Jesus fashion is also genius. Great quality and fun. fun. fun.

At first we thought this may be blasphemous, but after talking about we decided it was a cute way to add a little Jesus into my sons playtime. And we figured that actually Jesus could live in the hearts of all these different types of people in which the"costumes" are portraying. So, while we were going to return it we decided to keep it. It works well and is made of thick magnet material. The price is sufficient for the product. And being a prime member was here very fast.

...ins E-van-gelium!

WWJW is genius. He proudly adorns our fridge and gets a new outfit and thought bubble every day. Ace fun, but definitely not a gift for your religious friends and family...
