Decent wheel but the hub was a little bit tighter than it should have been. I disassembled it am checked to make sure the wheel bearings were greased and they were. Then reassembled the hub and set the pressure on the wheel bearings properly. A great wheel other than that issue.

Nice rim for the money and I was able to set it up tubeless!!! Used 1 inch black no name rim tape and a presta valve stem seated the tire and poured in 2 oz of tire sealant just before popping the rest on the rim. A compressor is a must and it helped to have a few extra hands to work the tire. It took a while but the bead finally caught and it inflated fine. I splashed the sealant all around in the tire and rim and let it sit fully inflated. It’s holding great and no leaks! Tubeless rim for $70! Thank you!

I took one star off for the hub spacing being too tight (as others have said in other reviews), I had to back it off a little for the tire to spin right. Once I opened up the hub, I went ahead and repacked with more grease anyway, as I found the amount of grease to be insufficient. I took one star off because it should have come from the factory working right from the very beginning.... Now, on to the good...Despite them not being officially tubeless "compatible" and others people saying "NO TUBELESS" in the Q&A. I went ahead anyway and bought a tubeless ready Continental Trail King tire, and a tubeless removable core air valve stem.I taped the rim with Gorilla tape, which has worked for me in the past for 2 conversions, tried to dry seat them... to no avail, even with an air compressor. I then tried another layer of Gorilla tape over the first layer, remounted the tire, and tried to dry seat them again the next day with the compressor. It worked with the two layers of Gorilla tape. Though there was still a small air leak in one spot, and one of the spokes seem to be leaking air too. I checked the tape inside, and they don't seem compromised. It held pressure good enough that i decided to go ahead a fill the tire with sealant fluid anyway... the idea being that these two leak spots, once sealant is inside, should be sealed up with the sealant and there would be no leaks.I'm happy to say that after I filled with sealant, and refilled with air to about 40 psi with my compressor, I swished the fluids around the tire on both sides, rolled around a few times, and flipped around both sides, the fluid did seal up any leaks and it held pressure. A successful tubeless conversion.

I was a little hesitant to try out an Amazon wheelset but this did not disappoint. I couldn't find any wheelsets for a wide 650b tire but thankfully this worked just fine. I run 47mm 650b tires. This wheel comes pretty close to true. I've had no issues commuting and hopping a few curbs, I would be curious to know if this wheel holds up for singletrack mountain biking.

Fits perfectly centred between my front forks (Rock Shox Judy)-updating my 90’s Gary Fisher to disc brakes. Looks great!
