Heavy and could use a bit of grease to the hub, but a sturdy basic wheel. Has held up for thousands of miles.

Great replacement for the stock wheel on my wife's Schwinn. Was fairly true on arrival. I did true it to completion after putting in on the bike. Schrader valve fit through the hole in the rim. Bearings in the hub are a bit gritty/catchy (but silent) . We haven't ridden the bike yet, so I'm not sure if that will go away.

Upgrade for added strength needed due to weight for an old Cannondale hybrid that I put a midmount Bafang 750w mid drive motor with V-brakes and 2 Hailong batteries mounted for gravel mountain road hard riding. The wheel was true and greased well. The spokes are much stronger than on the original wheel. I put Continental Contact Plus 47-622 tires with 27.5â€/650b X 2.0-2.4†Slime tube and created a solid smooth controlled descent ride. Purchase wheel tape.

Bought this as a replacement for my bike as my old wheel was wearing out. As I rotated the wheel while holding the axle the bearings seem to make a grinding noise . I took the bearings out and found that they were completely dry not a hint of grease or even oil. I would have thought whoever built this wheel up would have greased the bearings (even a little). So if you buy this wheel CHECK THE BEARINGS otherwise failure is in your future. I gave a 1 star rating to attract attention for any buyers but in actuality this is probably a 4 star wheel

Came as expected. Goodquality, packaged well. Be sure to purchase an inside flat gasket liner New wheels do not come with them apparently. Plastic lever tools are handy to change out tire so I use my old flat gasket it goes over the spoke heads.

A quick throw on wheel for annoying spoke failures or flats when exercise time is short. Solid build, true and inexpensive. Nice to have 36 spokes for added strength. Not a fan of today's trendy, low-spoke wheels. Keep 'em coming Wheel Master!
