Tight, dished perfectly for a 6 speed cassette, perfectly round. It's a great replacement for my 80's vintage Giant Quasar. After a fifteen mile shakedown ride, everything is still nice and tight and true even given my 285 lbs and a heavy framed bike. Took a while to ship but I'm extremely happy and back on the road

I tried the quick release first, good if you don't pull a trailer. The bolt on holds better the hitch stays in place. Really good wheel I put a pair on my old '78 Concord smooth nice ride.

I like these but I have tried and tried to ask the collective sellers if this was a single wall rim and received no reply to any inquiry. I took the chance and purchased them and behold- this is absolutely a single wall rim. My originals were single wall so it will be fine. I was hoping to find 27" in double wall and would have paid more but these were the only i could find.

This was purchased because the back rim if my Schwinn tour le tourette's had a bend at the bead and caused my tire to push out with the tube and pop the tube. Needed to replace it found this and decided to try it.Pro: exactly what I needed to get it and hold very well with my tire and tube. Had a bike shop put the rear tire gears onto the new wheel and attached no issue.Con: ok, I'm sure this was a given because of production, the wheel was not trued at all. I put it on my bike and saw the tire go every direction. I spent a while trying to fix this. It's better now but still no where near perfect. I'm sure a bike shop could have it done quickly. I wanted to practice so I can eventually do it on my own.Would I get another one of these again, yes. Actually need to replace the front wheel soon. I haven't been able to pump the tires up enough to their capacity just yet. Weight plus tires not being stable in the wheel. It's cheaper to replace wheels than whole bike.

I purchased this 27"x 1-1/4" alloy bolt on rear wheel for a mid 1980's Concord Freedom Deluxe 12 speed bike. The wheel arrived quickly and appeared to be trued correctly with no side to side wobbel at all, (as well as being round) with no need for any further adjustment, as expected. I also purchased the Shimano MF-TZ20 6 speed freewheel to mount, which also worked out fine. After a short test ride to tighten the freewheel, all seems good so far. It's very important to apply a thin layer of grease to the threaded hub and freewheel before assembly. Also, it doesn't come with a rim strip, so you will need to get that as well. The bike is back on the road, so I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Make sure to lubricate ball bearings. First wheel spin out of the box, you can hear them grind. Once lubed, still some grind but ok given cost of wheel.

CHECK YOUR BIKE FIRST and making sure you have the right size.I got this in the mail and opened it... within 5 seconds I realized it was the wrong type for my bike.. and I immediately called in to ask about returning it.... The packaging was seriously ONLY a piece of plastic, and because I had torn it, I could not return the wheel. Or at least, I pay shipping and return it but only get back half (or less) or what I paid.Super bummed out.

In this age of throw away, it's refreshing to be able to restore an otherwise great bicycle that just needed a rear wheel. Not available in any bike shop. Thank you for supplying this replacement part! It arrived quickly with the wheel trued and the bearings well adjusted.
