Great piece of equipment for helping get your 5th wheel level side to side very quickly. This coupled with Anderson leveler blocks (ramps) is absolutely amazing. If you are mechanically inclined throw out the self tapping screws and get some stainless steel 1/4"x 3/4" machine bolts with flat washers, drill and tap the pin box. Thats what I did for a couple bucks.

I looked at several types of units and remembered having this on one of my old campers years ago.Thought about the electronic ones, turn them off and turn them on, and hope the batteries work when you need them.Decided that this was the route to go and it works great.Simple yet effective. Never needs batteries and can always adjust it if needed.THe graduations on the gauge are pretty accurate as to how far out of level you are. Pull ahead a little, add the required blocking, and back up onto them.Actually found out the auto-leveling system on the 5th wheel was off when I leveled it to install the unit. So now I need to figure out how to re-calibrate that system.Only complaint was that in the instructions it says "drill the holes".Okay, what size?Well in the list of materials it mentions the drill bit size, but how hard would it be to put the size in parenthesis after "drill the holes (7/32") and install bolts".Broke a bolt off and that was a pain to get out, but all good after I found the right size bit.I read the instructions, not the list of materials.But overall a great unit and made from aluminum, so will not rust.Would recommend for sure.

Only thing I dislike about these levels is their tendency to lose fluid, I sealed the ends this time, a first for me. Easy to install, a great addition to the rv world.

This is really nice for leveling the camper, i camp alone a lot so I rely on it to level before I unhook.

I love it! It is very easy to see. Very easy to read. We bought a 5th wheel for the first time and purchased this after our first camping trip. It was so much easier to set the camper up with this level. It's large enough to read without having to get in and out of the truck. Saved us alot of time setting up! Would really recommend this with any camper!

I have used these on my last 2 trailers, and being able to side to side level from the cab is the only way to go. If you use blocks, each line is about 1 inch of blocks required on the low side. I use the accrued ramps, and you pull onto the ramps until you are level. I removed one star because the little brackets are plastic. The screws are also very large for the load you are holding, and this requires you to drill 4 large holes into your pin box to mount the unit.

Instructions should include recommended drill bit size. Broke one of the bolts installing it as my pilot hole was to tight.
