It took 11 days to receive this item. We bought it for our Whirlpool Gold oven because the original heating element was sparking and then melted. It was easy to install after watching a youtube instructional video. Now our oven works again. Yay!

I have a Maytag Model MEP5775BAF Oven that needed a new Bake Element (this is the lower element) and this fit perfect and took less than 3 minutes to replace. Even though I have a Maytag this Whirlpool part is made for several models. Here is the different part numbers this Heating Element is knows as: W10310274 (AP4567080) replaces 74010883, 1863288, AH3407743, EA3407743, PS3407743. Whirlpool brands include Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and others. Before you start make sure you shut off the power to the Stove/Oven from the Service (Breaker) Panel - just flip the switch to “offâ€. You'll need a Philips screwdriver to remove the 2 each screws on the back oven wall. Once the screws are removed slowly pull the heating element out from the wall to disconnect the 2 wire connections.Note: The hardest part of this whole task is getting the old element out from the backside of the oven without the electric terminals coming loose and stuck behind the oven wall. If that happens you’ll have to remove the stove back panel to get to this area, which means you’ll have to remove the stove away from the kitchen wall to get to it. A big pain!I find moving the heating element side to side will allow the interior wall insulation to unwrap itself from the terminal leads at the tips of the elements. If everything goes right you should have about 3 or 4 inches of wire exposed though the cavity. Now just disconnect the electrical lead on each end of the heating element and swap them out to the new heating element. Reinstall the 2 screws and wipe off the new heating element with a damp towel to remove fingers prints, debris, etc. Oils from your hands could cause a “hot†spot and burn the new element at that area. Now turn the Breaker back on and turn the oven to bake. Wait 3 - 5 seconds and you should sense heat. Good luck!

Our Ikea (Whirlpool) oven's baking coil couldn't take the heat and needed to leave the kitchen. This coil replaced it and is working great. I did have to detach and attach the connections by removing the back of the oven, but that was the hardest part in the whole job.

This does work great and perfect fix. Installed on a Jenn-Air range slide in. To install properly, Its connected by two wire leads. When take the old element off the leads will probably come off. Save a lot of problems and time. Turn the power OFF, pull the range out and take the back cover off. Install the new element and screw it in place. The ends of the new element will stick out the back and connect the wires to the element. Put cover back on and slide range back in place and turn power back on...

It’s easy to install. Just turn off your circuit breaker, remove the old element, connect this one, and turn on your breaker. There are YouTube videos out there to help. Saved allot doing this myself.
