This product is definitely not made for real xmas trees that require a base to pour water to feed the tree. Luckily it fit around our tiny fake tree, but the size designed for 6-7 foot trees is still pretty tiny. My cat tried to use it as a bed when it was around the real tree. She ripped it off since I couldn't secure it all the way around 🤣 so apparently it's pretty soft. The detail is nice though, and this would be perfect for a fake tree for sure. 5 stars if you buy it for fake tree, 3 stars if you're trying to use it on a real tree.
