We had some young visitors and these were gifts for them to enjoy for the rodeo. Good quality. They are super firm and they are not all day hats. They are perfect for children to wear for as longs they want and ideal for photos and walking around at the State Fair. If you plan on becoming a cowboy or cowgirl and you're looking for protection from the sweltering sun, maybe go to a specialty store. These are great for costume play or occasional use. We loved them.

The hats were smaller than expected for my daughter. She has a lot of hair so we went with non child size but still informational did not fit.

We just needed these for a kids costume so it was perfect. They fit our seven year old daughter perfect. It is a cheaper felt so keep that in mind. The string tore off of one of the hats. They do get dirty easily, so these will not be something you use a long time. However if you need a quick, cheap, cute little hat. This is perfect.
