I haven't been to get out and actually use the information on these cards while shooting yet but by just reading through them, I know they will be a big help. They break down the basics on certain terms and features of your camera and then have separate cards with different shooting situations that give recommended camera settings for each situation. That is exactly what I needed. If you are like me and just cant stand sitting down and reading a book about photography, trying to understand terms and all the gagillion settings on your camera, this is just the thing for you. It will help to go take these cards, go out shooting while referencing them when needed, and basically allows you to learn as you go which is the best way for me to get familiar with my camera. For someone with more experience, this would probably be a waste for you as it really is just the basics in my opinion.

This is perfect! The full manual for my Nikon D3200 is on line only (also 250+ pages!) and the printed version that came with it was too skimpy on the details to carry around in my bag. This has just enough details for me to refresh my memory on how to change settings or improve my pictures.It is not however specific to any one camera model andis generic to all Nikons and general photography. Just what I was looking for.The quality is great, each page is laminated very well and it comes with a nice carbiner and lanyard to attach to your camera bag. I was worried that the font would be too small for me to read but it is just large enough to read without my reading glasses.

I really liked it as it gives you a clear-cut short-cut on how to use your Nikon camera , especially, when different settings are invloved so that you will be able to adjust your camera quickly ,,,, this is a magic guide to keep in your camera bag whenever you go for photographing,,, I would really recommend it for beginners who want to engage in the unlimited world of photographing

This is a perfect addition for any beginner, or even an amateur looking for a quick reference on many topics.I would consider myself a very seasoned amateur when it comes to bird and wildlife photography. But know very little when it comes to night photography, or shooting things like fireworks. All of which are covered in good basic detail, among many other topics.Each topic, or section, includes equipment recommended, general settings, and tips.I will find myself using this often I'm sure, and will probably explore some new things just because I bought it!

I got this for my wife who is new to dslr's. She is not familiar with terms, she's just a basic iPhone and point-and-shoot photographer. She is wanting to learn and take great pictures so I bought this along with other accessories. I wasn't exactly sure what would be on these but the reviews looked good. I'm glad I bought it. There was SO MUCH info on there. Basic camera controls for her model of camera and tips on how to get the shot she wants depending on certain situations. She won't have to carry her manual around which she never would anyways but this gives her all the info she needs while out playing with her new toy. I recommend this to anyone new to cameras that aren't your basic point-and-shoot.

I have yet to use it and I've bought it months ago. It's a great reference guide, I will tell you that. I've skimmed through it the day I received it but that's pretty much it. It can also make a great gift for someone who's just starting into photography. Even a pro can use this I'm sure. I know it may come in handy one of these days.The pages aren't too big and they aren't small. The text is very easy to read, the clip works great, I actually leave it attached to the loop on my camera bag and stuffed into the backpocket so it's just there chilling all the time.

I'm not an expert but I'm a novice either but I'm surprised at how often I consult my cheat sheets. I suppose if I only used the camera for one type of shot I wouldn't need these but I find that make all sorts of shots and these cards are essential for me. At first I thought the carabiner loop was overkill but it DOES work pretty well. The cards are also fairly robust and with all the handling I give them I haven't torn through the eye holes of any of them. A very good product.

I've bought a lot of books to help me with my photography, but I think these will be among the most helpful. I love how easy they are to understand and the clip helps keep it handy. Exactly what I have been searching for to remind me of what settings to use and when for so many occasions. These are great! I just bought two more sets for my sister-in-law and a friend who are both trying to get a handle on the complicated terms and settings on their Nikon cameras. Love 'em, love 'em....thank you!
