Whitecap Industries S-226BC, T-Handle Latch with Keyed Lock in Chrome/Zamac/Black Nylon is for freshwater boats, only. Threaded offset cam bar with set screw included. Different size/shape cam bars available (must purchase separately):
- 1. S-226LO Long Offset Cam Bar 2-7/8” Length
- 2. S-226A Long Straight Cam Bar 2-5/8” Length
- 3. S-226SL Short Straight Cam Bar 1-7/8” Length
O-Ring made of Neoprene, included, to keep cam in position, while installing. O-Ring can then be removed and disposed. All locking handles are keyed alike. Replacement Key is part# S-226KEY.

Installed these on my boat to replace worn out or broken stock ones. Easy to install but bear in mind, if your current lock holes aren't completely round, you may have to do some filing to make these work. My holes had the two flat sides for the stock locks to fit in and not turn so I had to use a Dremel to round the holes out. No big deal, just added a little time and effort to the installation. I ordered 6 of these and the keys are all alike which I was glad since I'd rather not have to go through 6 keys to get the right one but it would also mean if someone else has the same locks, their key might likely fit yours. I did not order them keyed alike, that's just the way they came. The factory may make them in different keys or maybe they make a certain number with the same key, I don't know, just be aware of this. They work great!

Bought this to replace one that broke, and I'm happy to have found the exact same style as the others on my boat. I'm kind of disappointed that the key that came with it also unlocks the ones that have been on the boat for 5 years now. It makes it easier to replace it as now I don't have to figure out how to change lock cylinders, but at the same time, it seems like these all unlock with the exact same key. As in all of them on every boat, not just mine. Seems like a thief hanging around a marina would have long since picked up on this trick, but maybe I'm giving criminals too much credit.My problems with the keys aside, these latches really do work awesomely and are very durable. If I hadn't stumbled a little and stepped on an open latch, it would still be working as nicely as the other 7 on the boat.EDIT:So when I originally tried the key, I had the old latch off the boat on the kitchen table, and the new key unlocked the old latch, but the old key would not unlock the new latch. They have a slight difference in the pattern. Didn't notice until I had it in the boat, and glad I checked before putting away the other keys as spares (and probably losing them forever). Everything still happens to work with the same key, and I don't worry as much for the few times the boat isn't within eyesight or locked in the garage.

It's fits perfectly and works well. The only complaint is that it comes with one key.

Bought two of these to replace the original t-handle locks on the 2015 Bass Tracker I picked up recently. Simple to install. The only part that might take a few extra minutes is getting the locking bar set at the correct height on the threaded shaft and even that wasn't bad.

Fit just list the OEM equipment, don’t throw away the straight bar from your old one, you myay need it for this replacement

I leave only 1 star due to the following reasons: The product came with only 1 key. Tried to contact the seller and got to talk with some person most likely in India. They gave me 2 options, one is to return the product and they will send me new one (product is fine just missing a key) and the second was to purchase new key for over $30 when the whole lock with the keys is $28. Waste of time. The other reason is the poor description. Other than that it's good product so far. Installed easily and fit's great on my Yamaha boat. Not sure how much it's going to last as it's not stainless steel but will give it a try.

Quality is actually better than i was expecting.as others have mentioned it only comes with one key -- however all keys are alike if you buy multiple for multiple hatches
