I washed it first as I saw that some had issues with the colors. Came out very well. It fits perfectly in my current board. I left the old padding. It looks excellent and I am happy with my purchase. I do minimum ironing, but the person that comes home to do the ironing for me loves it.

After 15+ years, my ironing board's old cover was tearing. This one by Whitmor looks like it will last me for the next 15! It provided secure Velcro straps that were easy to use, with four threading locations to choose from to customize the fit. Its taupe/gray pattern is attractive to look at. Once in place, it provided a smooth surface on which to place any garment to iron.

When I was searching for an ironing board cover, I thought this one was a little more expensive than I wanted to pay, but I also wanted to get a cute color/design to help me feel more excited about ironing (I'm not a fan of ironing). The other reviews were good, so I decided to go for it. Glad I did! I really like that the padding is pretty thick and it's sewn in, so it can't shift around like my old one did. It fits snugly on my standard sized ironing board, and it's very secure with the elastic band and Velcro closures. The color did turn out cute too (bright teal green). The only thing I noticed is that it's not completely smooth around the edges (slightly bunched fabric) but it hasn't been a problem yet. I ironed two shirts on it and it didn't make them crinkly or anything. It worked well!

I love that this is reversible! When one side wears out just reinstall it with the new side showing. Plus is lasts way longer than the other ones I have tried.

After purchasing my first ironing board 50 years ago for my first apartment, I had only purchased one other cover and pad. Put it on right over the original, so when I peeled them both off to put on the new one, my only thought was--if only this one holds up as well, I'll be a happy camper. The pad on my second one was still in good shape, so I left it on when I put this new cover on. I like the velcro--makes it nice and snug. Although, I'm not sure why there are only two pieces but more places to use them. I had velcro from the second pad, so I cut those off and finagled them together to use in a third set of "holes" on the cover. Works great!

I purchased an ironing board from a separate site and the cover it came with was so thin it did not have enough material to absorb the little bit of water from the spray function of the iron itself when it was used. Purchasing THIS cover was a quick fix. It’s adjustable, looks nice and has just the right amount of thickness.

The fit is perfect with an easy drawstring to I sure a snug fit and no moving around. Non stick cover with just the right pad thickness. I might mention it is a great color and style.

Elastic too tight to fit on my ironing board. Looks very high quality but I might need to clip elastic to get on ironing board.

Delivery was fast. Padding and material are good qualityItem is described to come with "Drawstring cord with barrel lock for snug, secure fit". I believe there is a drawstring cord but no barrel lock and I cannot find any opening to draw out the string code to tighten for snug, secure fit. Instead it has two set of velcro tapes to ensure snug, secure fit but one set cannot be tightened because it will get into the way of the sliding leg of the ironing board.
