I’m in my 70s and too darn old to pull and hold my compound bow with confidence. I couldn’t justify the top tiered crossbows because honestly if I have a good bow hunt I may only pull and release once or twice and the jobs done. Got to save something for rifle season :) I found that this crossbow to be effortless in cocking and the smooth trigger was much better than expected. With only a few scope adjustments I had a tight grouping at 35-45 and 50 yards. The cranking system is easy as stirring a bowl of pancake mix.

I have never owned or even used a crossbow. Got a few tips from people I trust and so I bought this Ten Point, wow I put it together and right out of the box at 25 yards I shot 1 inch right of bulls eye, adjusted scope and hit the center, moved out to 40 yards and used the bottom line, there are 3 lines line, I shot the center. Took it out to the deer blind and killed a huge buck. I did hit the heart as i intended but I did get the lungs. Seems I didn't account for the angle of the 15 foot blind. Still brought home the buck.

I bought this to replace my centerpoint because I have serious Back problems and also shattered my wrist in a car accident years ago and now I have arthritis in it. Even though the centerpoint is extremely accurate the weight of the bow was causing me issues with trying to hold it caused to much pain in my wrist and carrying it over my shoulder caused to much back pain. This Wicked ridge Commander m1 does the job perfect !! Am extremely pleased with the accuracy and the accu draw is just what I needed for my back. It takes little effort to cock it now I have to go out and make it pay for itself!!

The crossbow works fine, but Tenpoint will void the warranty if you use any other company's nocks. Tenpoint's lighted nocks are far inferior to Lumenocks. Will be buying 2 of another brand of crossbow for my teenage grandkids to hunt with.

Haven't had the chance to use it yet, but am impressed with this crossbow. Fit and finish is great! After assembly I cocked it just to see how well the cocking device worked---Wow, super easy ! Even decocking wasn't too hard. Think I'm gonna like it just fine, overall.

I bought my husband one a few years ago and his is a lot easier to pull back because it’s not as powerful. It’s almost like I’m not tall enough to pull this one back. I’m 5’7â€. Is there something I can do to make it easier?
