Perfect for what I needed

I used this tool magnetizer immediately after receiving it and it worked perfectly. Moderate magnetization after several seconds following the directions then it completely demagnetized once I was done. This saved me several dollars, Absolutely worth the cost!

As others have stated the magnets could be stronger. You have to run a screwdriver through several times. Even then it only works for small screws.

This little device should have been added to my toolbox YEARS ago. It's so simple, yet completely effective. When you use a screwdriver that doesn't have magnetized tips, screws won't stay in place as you try to insert them...and they fall off when your remove them. I got so tired of dealing with it. Just stick the tip of the screwdriver (or drill bit driver) into the + side of this device, wiggle it around in the magnetized area for a few seconds and you are done! Now, when you put a screw onto the end of your screwdriver, it stays in place on it's own and wont fall off when you are inserting it. Just as valuable, when you remove a screw, it stays on the end of the screwdriver and won't fall down into whatever you are working on. It will generally stay magnetized during your project, but just use it again when the magnetic pull starts to wear off. I haven't needed the de-magnetize option (-) but it's there if you do. This thing is cheap, easy to use and a "must have" in your toolbox. Wish I would have bought it years ago.

Work s well
