Rick here with Elloree Guitars. I like everything about Wilkinson machine heads and pickups. The price is nice, and the quality is what I am looking for. This bass had too many different sets and styles of machine heads. Looked like Woody the Woodpecker got a hold of it. Can't do much about its appearance, but these machine heads will probably live as long as this bass does. Peace.

I picked these up to refurbish a beat up Ibanez bass for my daughter. They turn smoothly and hold pitch well. I might not use them in a high-end instrument, but definitely to fix up a player grade bass.

The Wilkinson tuner's are good quality one thing. You have to be aware of if you need to return needs like. I did because I made a mistake got the wrong style The return process is not that simple like with most items. You can returned these you have to mail back to china not back to amazon And the shipping is almost as much as what you pay for the tuners so not worth returning need to keep that in mind. I don't know why Amazon does that?

Bought a set of these to replace a mismatched set on a beater bass after one of the ESP tuners split a bushing. These dropped right in. Less than 1/2 the price of the high end brands and almost just as good.

The ones that worked are great. But I had to buy and return 2 packs to get 4 tuners that would correctly thread through the headstock (each pack had one that wasn't machined correctly). Tried to contact the manufacturer for replacement but never got an answer. In retrospect, I should've just gone through Amazon. Bear in mind, I had a brand new bass that I couldn't play during this whole returns process (EXCRUCIATING!!!) Overall though, they've been on my bass a while now and still look and work well. 5 stars if it hadn't been for those machining issues.
