Sounded good on the guitar I installed it in. It was a Epiphone sg special satin. The installation was not difficult, with the manual clear which cable was which. They fit about as well as the ceramic humbuckers the guitar came with. The finish was pretty nice. For the money it's a great option for upgrading a cheapo guitar.

The tone is comparable to the Burstbuckers I have in another LP. The gold is smooth and really well done. Very happy.

Picked up an LP knock-off from Firefly (has a sweet batwing inlay and actually plays pretty darn decent after a little bit of setup) for less than $200.But, as you can imagine, at that price point the pick-ups were hilariously bad (microphonic, tinny... the audio equivalent of a sunburn on the tops of your ears). So it sat in the rack looking pretty but not getting much play time at all.Was wanting to play some of the newer metal that's out there so picked up some fatty strings for C tuning. And was going to throw them on that guitar but... figured, while I've got it on the bench and stripped, why not slap in those pick-ups?I can't speak to their performance with lighter strings, but with a set of D'addario XLs these sound FIERCE. Warm but not muddy.Turned that guitar from a rack princess to a daily workhorse for stress relief mini-jams. Pretty awesome. I'm very happy about it.

This is a mid-price-range Wilkinson pickup. Not as mediocre as their lower-end stuff and not their best, but still very good. I installed this on an S-H Telecaster copy in the neck position. It's powerful, but not too hot. Great low-end response, really tight. The pickup can be a good distance from the strings and still provide great signal. The logo on the cover even looks cool. Cannot be beat for the price. Definitely recommended.

These pickups are a great upgrade from the stock pickups in my Squire Affinity Starcaster. If you can’t afford name brand pickups I’d highly recommend these pickups.

Look and sound great.The only minor problem I found is that most pickups I have dealt with had a solid and a bare ground wire.This had a hot,two wires for coil split and a single ground.For standard wiring or a normal coil split this is sufficient.I was wiring for a series/parallel and phase wiring and for this you need a solid and a bare ground wire.For this I had to solder an extra ground wire to the pickup.As I said in most cases the single ground is sufficient but if you want to do anything exotic an extra wire is needed.This is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars

It is a humbucker, it looks good, it sounds pretty good. But the screws provided didn't fit into the holes. Luckily I had some living around and ended up finding some. Also the springs provided are super flimsy. I will be upgrading to Seymour Duncan as soon as I find some on my local used market in good condition.

These pickups sound and perform excellent.I am tempted to say for the money they are great pick ups, but that would leave the impression that it’s only because of the price point they are good, which is totally not the case. I have many electric guitars some with Seymour Duncan some with guitar brand such as fender Pickups in them these sound just as good keeping in mind pickup sound is very subjective to the player. I would definitely buy these again.
