Works fine. Great to have the touchpad working again.Apple - pain in the butt - required us to buy special tool to open the Macbook Air.Apple should jump in a lake and stay there.

You might need to replace the cable, not this part. My cable had corrosion, kept this part anyway. Another way overpriced mac part. Cable replacement was more difficult than expected. You'll need "0" sized phillips screwdriver to replace this part, has 6x mini screws and hex adjustment leveler screw.

I’ve gotten this almost a year ago and shockingly the replacement piece still works as if I never needed to get a new mouse. I would definitely recommend.

I had to replace the kyboard because one of the keys popped off. Once i did that, my touchpad and keyboard both stopped working. I tried a bunch of things but nothing solved it except for replacing the touchpad. Worked perfectly. Feels just like original Apple. Love it

First one was used had broken screws in it and the replacement would not allow the computer to turn on. Sent back for a refund. Just using my old one. Will deal with the intermittent mouse clicks.

If not connected properly the keyboard not working and the MacBook won't turn on! It's not easy to connect the 2 cables, especially the bigger one. After replacement done my MacBook keyboard not working but mouse working so I was thinking the battery dead but actually the battery is new and good (also just replaced at the same time), I went to Apple Store they told me same battery dead. But after change back the original battery, I found the computer still couldn't turn on! I reconnected the bigger cable of trackpad and everything working!!! If the vendor including Phillip #00 screwdriver in the package then will be perfect! So I only give 4 stars.
