It feels like it's coated with something tacky to prevent rust. I'd like to see this in nickel-free stainless steel instead, and with maybe a foam grip. The blade is a ice, useful shape.

This travel is beautiful I use it as a display and for transplanting it's small enough that you can use it to strategically dig around root systems and it's long enough to carry a decent amount of dirt and get your plant moved around or dug out easily

Dug through weed roots and dense soil well, also could kill a zombie should the Apocalypse, Armageddon and End of Days coincide with Halloween. Would be way better than a coke bottle in the movie where one modern object is dropped on pre-contact society.

If I had scanned an old battlefield and found this, I would think of an iron age spearhead. Instead, it arrived well packed in an Amazon box, although this would have been more appropriate if I had dug it up in the Amazon. There is no doubt it is crude. I will keep it for amusement and in case I need to defend myself against Orcs. Update: I trimmed a wine bottle cork to push into the top of the handle, wrapped that handle with bicycle bar tape, and have a workable tool. Now that it is more user-friendly that narrow sharp point makes an invaluable tool.
