This is a well-made winch cover. Like most people, you hope that you never have to use your winch, but you have it just in case. I’ve had this winch cover on for about six months, and it hasn’t moved. It’s been through wind, snow and rain; it stayed secure the entire time.

The size is so big that it covers easily bigger car winches. Mine is a VEVOR electric winch, 13.000 lbs (24.4 x 14.2 x 9.8 inches). Top that there are zippers on each side. The cloth makes a sturdy impression. The elastic band is strong and hold The Cover well on the winch in higher speeds of 75/80 miles.

I am using this cover as protection for a winch installed in a dusty barn. The winch is used for unloading heavy bales of hay (800+lbs) and the motor is exposed to a large amount of dust so having a cover is necessary for the longevity of the winch. This cover is well made and is a nice thick material. The zippers on either side allow the cover to stay on during operation, which is convenient when the winch is 12 feet off the ground. The elastic holds the cover on very well. I would recommend this cover for an application similar to mine. It may work well as protection on a vehicle winch as well and I wouldn't hesitate to give it a try, but there are no buckles or straps to keep it on in windy conditions, so I'm not sure about how well it would stay put.

Time will tell as to how this material will stand up to the sun and rain, but it is well sized for the 12K winch on the front of my Land Cruiser. It tucks down in and with the elastic it seems to stay in place when driving.It has a zippered front so you can engage / disengage the clutch without removing the cover if you desired. This is a nice heavy duty cover, and while it has zippered openings which are a nice feature, I'm not 100% sure what you would use them for as I never run my winch with a cover on it. Just seems like a design feature that doesn't serve a clear purpose.With that said, it is a nice heavy material and hopefully will last a while. My philosophy is that if your winch is exposed and stored outside often (as mine is unfortunately) then eventually the sun will wear this down and it will need to be replaced - but the protection it provides is nice and it is much easier/nicer to spend tens to replace a cover than hundreds to replace a winch!

This winch cover has strong elastic on the bottom. It is a tight fit on a Warn M8000 winch so it will not blow off. It has some zippered access that I will never use because I will just take the cover off to use the winch. This cover will keep the dust, sun, and rain off the winch so it will look good and work great for a long time. The cost of this cover is a good investment to protect your winch.

This is a nice cover. It's light weight and big enough to fit a 12k winch. I perfer I heavy weight cover, even neoprene but I have a very small space to slip the cover on my winch. I have a bull bar over the wench and there is I'de guess less than a quarter inch between the control box and the bar. I gave this cover a good spray down with 3m waterproofing spray just to make sure. It fits nicely. We'll see how it holds up.
