Love this non stick 12'' spring form pan, as I made a very large cheesecake with it. 48 oz. cream cheese 16 oz. Mascarpone cheese and a half pint of sour cream, along with 5 eggs and vanilla extract and almond extract and some Amoretto. This pan held an awful lot of stuff.

This is great for baking a cheese cake for a dinner party that has a crowd... but be ready for BIG. I did not have a serving platter large enough or a cover big enough to cover the cheesecake. I ended up putting the cake on a 16 inch lazy susan and covering with a gigantic bowl, although the bowl touched the sides of the cake and messed up the whipped cream topping. The advertising for the pan was perfect. I'm not blaming the pan for my issues, . Just wanted to give a heads up to prepare for your really big cake

I used the ring to raise the lid and increase air intake. With this and one of the steel smoker boxes, I can leave this smoking and the coals don't have their oxygen stifled and the smoke hits such concentration that it has to billow down.

This is definitely a 12 inch springform. It's perfect for making those big German cheesecakes and torten. However, it is not superior quality like others are saying. Yes, it is good quality but I own springform pans that are much heavier and more durable than this one. I was very happy to find it though, because you really cannot find a 12 inch springform pan in the stores.

To my mind, there is NO reason to make an upside down cake or cheesecake that looks like it was baked in Munchkin Land and does not feed as many people as I'd like it to. I used to use the bottom layer of a wedding cake set but it was lost in a move. While I have a smaller spring form pan, I needed a larger one and this one is perfect and at a very good price.

Lo compre para mi madre que le encanta cocinas pasteles, es de buena calidad y con material repelente, los pasteles quedan muy bien y facilita el pasarlos a una base al separarse la base con su anillo.
