You can't go wrong with a proven name like Gates. For not much more than 5-10 feet of hose will cost at your local auto parts store you can have this 50 foot roll on your shelf. Its from a proven name unlike the loose hose you will be handed after its cut of a reel at the auto parts store.Vacuum lines can wreak havoc when they begin to leak. With the amount of lines on vehicles produced after 1972 due to emissions laws, do yourself a favor and use good quality hose when it comes time to replace them . I keep several sizes of hose around for maintenance and this product is one I have used and trusted for 30 years.

Good quality roll of hose,flexible. Used on a 2001 blazer that the original hose was harden/rotted. Takes a little time to trace the old hoses but had to be done, got everything working again.

Great quality rubber vacuum line and with 7/32 inside dimensions it can fit over a barbed fittings up to 5/16 of an inch and possibly more. My 1980 Datsun only required a few feet of this size vacuum line and a bunch more of a smaller size 5/32. I probably should have bought by the foot on this size, but it was an excellent price for the quality and quantity you get. I'll find a purpose for the rest of the roll.

Quality tubing at a great price over the local auto parts store that charge per foot. Conforms well and after a bit of engine compartment heat cycling, the hoses set to the bends/curves they need to.

Gone are the days I try in vain to keep old, dry, cracked lines in one piece as I remove them in hopes of reusing them. Replace them and don't ever worry that the old hose you think you saved is actually causing you issues that you spend countless dollars and hours tracking down.Hose seems to be of a good quality, and it works.

Have several older vehicles. Hoses need to be replaced with time. Buying in bulk makes sense for me. Can't go wrong with the Gates hoses. For the size I ordered works as needed. Reasonable price and quick delivery. Will buy other size hose same way when needed.

I finally broke down and bought a long length of vacuum hose. Buying short pieces costs a fortune. Those of us working on older cars always need hose sections for testing or replacement. This is nice quality vacuum hose.
