My wipers had stopped functioning when extremely cold outside but would work when it warmed up.I marked my wiper arm position on the windshield with blue painters tape.I popped the caps off the wiper arms with a small flat head, used a 13mm socket to remove the arms. You have to flex the arm to remove it. Then carefully pulled the plastic cowl off the car. The linkage comes out by disconnecting the wire pig tail, one 10MM nut and two T25 torx heads. You’ll need a T30 torx and a 13mm wrench to remove the motor from the linkage. I suggest reusing the factory torx bolts and not the fasteners provided with the motor. Make sure you mark all your locations for the linkage or your wipers will be out of time. The motor installed without issue and works great so far. I will update after more time passes but day 2 is 7 degrees and functioning properly. Hopeful the durability matches the value.

Installing it was fairly straightforward, one important caveat is make sure to keep the motor arms aligned in exact position that it is when it comes out of the box. Mark (using a sharpee) above and below the motor arms for reference. There are plenty of quality YouTube videos that state not to move the arms, we did and fortunately we were able to get them back in alignment.

My motor went and when I took it to dealer they told me the new motors changed and the part was 800!! Are you kidding? My daughter was taking driving test and one of the things checked was wipers so I had little time and found these on Amazon. Husband installed and for less than $50 I got what I needed. I would never pay 800 for wipers to be fixed I’d rather tie a string to them to make them go lol

I instarted this new wiper motor six months ago. I’ve only driven my jeep a handful of times since the install and it stopped working again today. Of course it’s out of warranty and I can’t return it or exchange it.

This windshield wiper motor installed in my 2008 Jeep Wrangler. I took them out and compared. A little different wiring system. After the install. It worked. Wipes with single and intermittent. Good replacement motor.

Replaced a factory motor that had gotten very noisy and just quit working recently. This went in very easily after getting the wiper arms off. Make sure to lube the mechanism, they dry out over time. Mark the seesaw with a permanent marker to line things back up. Works perfect!

I had been in the market for one of these for some time and this appeared to be a good choice but upon trying to fit the component it became apparent that the motor was designed for a left hand drive model. I live in a country with right hand drive vehicle and the reduction gear assembly was on the wrong side. Do not purchase if you live in the UK, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, or other countries where vehicles are right hand drive and have left hand/side traffic flow.
