Cut the foil on wine bottles with no issue.It seems like the finish can become dull if you have a tendency to wash a lot. I guess there is no reason to have to wash it but it’s just my habit.Like it and would recommend

This is just what we needed. Those cheap little plastic ones don't last more than a month. This one is very sturdy.

I don’t dislike this product, although it doesn’t seem to grip the bottle top the way the ones with serrated edges do.
