This was a great idea that should have worked without a problem. However there's a one way valve that seemed to be either stuck or installed the wrong way. After inserting the needle in the cork, all I could get was one pump before the thing locked up. When I took it out of the cork it worked fine with the needle pointed up but NOT down so it just didn't work. Hoping to get a replacement. I like the idea and it should work. This one just had a manufacturing problem. I used my DeVine- two prong opener instead. No problem. I didn't think my original review was bad... just that they had some minor manufacturing/quality control problems. The seller was exceptionally gracious and responsive and shipped me an upgraded replacement unit. This works as described. It takes a little getting used to. As you pump the unit, the cork comes slightly out of the bottle and then POPS similar to opening Champagne but without that full amount of force. I'm happy with the opener and exceptionally happy that someone actually cares about customer service. Any wine person always has multiple openers. This should be one of them.

Didn't work for us. We tried many times on different bottles of wine. Could not get the cork to move. Maybe this particular one is a defect. But we will be returning it.

Being a frequent an ever-growing wine connoisseur, one of the things I look forward to when enjoying a bottle of wine is getting the cork off efficiently and obviously in a quick manner. I usually like with the manner in which the cork is removed quickly is in a way that it does not interfere with experience in the wine such as torn cords or Court pieces falling into wine just removed quickly and allowing me to able to be able to join my wife as soon as possible.. one of the things I do find a little bit taxing as taught at times of difficulty in which it takes to get a cork removed, and sometimes an efficient manner in which cork remover get the job done. So I was looking for a different type of cork remover that will do the job with less fuss and muss. With wine ziz, you get a very efficient cork remover that works with the method of using it as a air pressure pump to ficially and quickly remove the cork from a wine bottle without anything spoiling the wine and without cork Ricochet across the room. Is air pressure pump cork is so easy to use you just unwrapped the wrapping around your wine bottle attached to it, do a couple of pumps and it popped the cork right out of the bottle without any hassle. It's also really easy to the fact that the cork needle is straight, compared to the standard ones which are spiral to easily remove the cork and be on your way to join a great glass of wine. The only thing I would say with this that I would like to see improved is maybe the inside mechanism part which attaches on to it it seems to be able to wobble back and forth which attaches onto the court that if it could be a little bit more stable but other than that this is a great product to use especially for those who enjoy life and maybe even beginners getting into wine but they can definitely get a feel for the different type of court rules and feel for which one works for you but personally I'd like one that uses air pressure like this it's great it's quick and I've never had any issues with quartz breaking or ricocheted off of stuff due to pressure anything compared to other type of cord for movers. This was not only awesome, but also fun!! My husband and I love wine and always have lots on hand. We love going to small vineyards as well as large tastings. And since we have a house full of wine we have drawers full of many different kinds of wine openers. While some of them work great most of them are large and bulky or hard to work. The other half don't work or take too much time.The pressure pump corkscrew was super light and small. Super easy and fun to use and even easier to store. This would be be easy to pack for a picnic or an afternoon of wine tasting. To be honest I am thinking of picking up a few more and keeping them in different bags. I simply inserted the needle into the cork and with a few quick plunges it popped up. It sounded almost like a champagne cork popping, but the cork didn't fly anywhere. I found myself wanting to open more wine.

I couldn’t get it to work. I had a couple of other people try too and it didn’t work. We watched the videos and seem to be doing everything right. After several tries I gave up and used my regular corkscrew. The only reason I’m giving it a 2 instead of a 1 is in case I wasn’t doing something right.

This would not open a bottle with a natural cork, much less a synthetic one. Could hear air escaping as I was pumping. Poorly constructed crap. What amazes me are all of the glowing reviews. Makes you wonder….

My girlfriend refused to learn to use a waiters friend so bought this for her. She loves it, its so easy to use and so quick. It could do with a better handle but that's so minor I can't give it less than 5 stars

Pretty good overall, but not for wine with bubbles. Oh well.UPDATED. After repeated attempts, I can't get this thing to work. Shame, I missed the return window. I've tried a few times and nothing happens re the cork coming out easily. Buy at your own risk. I feel I've wasted my money.
