I these wine label removers! They are so cool, and a great way to remember a good wine or if you want to save a great label. They are pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it! Follow the directions and save your labels, they make great decor for a scrapbook or a collage as well.

YES!I have a sentimental 15 year old bottle of 15 year old Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve that is working it’s way to the bottom and I want to do the right thing by smashing the bottle when it’s gone (it’s a thing), but I want to save the label. I am a pretty resourceful person, but was struggling with how I could accomplish it without compromising the label. Soaking it was not an option for me.When I had the chance to try this product, I jumped on it. Of course, I figured I would try it on a bottle of cheap wine from the bottom of our rack….It worked PERFECTLY and the whole process took less than 10 minutes without any tools or stress.I do not keep a “wine bookâ€, but completely understand why people do and this product is perfect for that, but since I won’t be placing the label in a book, I took a 2nd sheet of the clear adhesive sheet that I used to remove the riesling label and applied it to the back side of the label to essentially laminate it. I then trimmed it with scissors.I have no hesitation about using this to remove the Pappy label, if only I can get past my hesitation to just finish it!

I absolutely love the concept of this, and as soon as I stumbled upon them, I jumped on it!I have been holding onto so many wine and liquor bottles that hold sentimental value to me, but unfortunately I don't have sufficient space to actually store them all. This seemed to be the perfect way for me to retain the labels and add a few notes about the bottle to it, in a form that takes up little to no space. The downside: the way these are supposed to work is, you firmly apply the adhesive sheet to the bottle, fully covering the label, and then as you peal, it pulls the printed layer of the label away from the adhesive layer. Now I understand that concept, I get it, but in practice, it hasn't gone very well on most of my bottles. What I've seen is a few things:1. The labels do not seem to have two layers, but rather are printed on a sheet of water-activated adhesive2. The "top layer" of the label is so thin that even if you do separate it from the adhesive, it doesn't all come with this product as you remove. The result is the same. From the several labels I've done so far, they all are missing portions of print. Unfortunately, I lost the actual wine name and some descriptive text from a bottle from Portugal. I also only got a portion of the label from a bottle of scotch gifted to me on my wedding day...My other critique is that these adhesive sheets should be a bit larger. You either have to choose between taking the front or the back label, OR going through 2 sheets per bottle.I'm giving this product a 4/5 stars still because the idea is great, and though it's frustrating and doesn't always work seemingly, I think that has more to do with the label material on your bottle than with these. The adhesive is strong, the tabs at each end help with release, and the info cards are smartly designed.I think I will try soaking my bottles to remove the labels the "old fashioned" way, and then once dried I'll use these to catalog them.

I tried two of these sticker sheets right away with mixed results. Both adhesive peels took off my wine labels like I wanted, but the first was more challenging to do. (Maybe it was a learning curve, either way I'm glad I did a tester to start.)That said, these adhesives do seem a little pricey for the few that you get. I won't be keeping them on hand but I will keep them in mind when I have special occasions I want to keepsake.

This method of removing labels is easy to use. I followed the directions and peeled off the sticker slowly, but it didn’t work for the bottle I tried it on. I must say, though, the label on the bottle did have a couple wrinkles to begin with. The parts that did come off were spotted and see-through. It might work better on more expensive brands with better labels…
