Your cart is empty. How can I clean my mobile?
Mobiles made of cardboard should only be dusted with a soft brush. Mobiles made of wood, aluminium or plastic can be wiped with a moist cloth with a few drops of mild dishwashing detergent.
How long can my Mobile last?
One person called us and said that they had inherited a Science Fiction Mobile from her grandmother who had had it for 30 years! In our home we have had the same mobile hanging for more than 20 years.
Can my mobile hang outdoors?
No. Since they are very sensitive to the simplest whiff of air hanging them outside is not recommendable.
Will my mobile fade?
In many of our mobiles we use plastic foil. This material is lightproof and easy to clean. Some other mobiles are made of cardboard. Even though we use the highest quality cardboard it will fade over the years. Red colors fade more than blue. You can delay fading by hanging the mobile out of direct sunlight.
When hanging your mobile, try it in different places and bear in mind the following suggestions:
1. The mobile is designed to be a pleasure to the eye and a stimulus to the imagination. Hang out of reach of children. It is not a toy.
2. Hang it away from direct sunlight to avoid the colors fading and the shapes distorting.
3. Hang it where there is some movement of air but no strong draft. A slow, quiet movement is the essence of the mobile. Do not hang it outdoors.
4. Where practical, hang the mobile where it has a subdued, uniform background. A corner position against light-colored walls is often the best location.
5. If possible, hang it in the light from a lamp. The shadow that the mobile casts onto a wall or ceiling will give the mobile yet another dimension. A candle is a concentrated light source which will produce distinct, well-defined shadows.
6. Hang the mobile where you can watch it while listening to music. You will see the mobile move to the rhythm of the music.

Yes...these mobiles are pricey. There is a reason for that. They are the epitome of the beauty of physics in motion. I challenge anyone who has said...."these are just a bit of cardboard and string" to make something similar. I hung this one over my bed and just love it!!! And it is BIG....the top most piece is 16 inches long. The motion is mesmerizing. I am very happy I decided to buy this.

This is my second Wings mobile. I lost the last one in a move and had to replace it as soon as I got settled. This is not necessarily a nursery mobile - it goes great in any contemporary setting. Very cool.

I bought this particular model because it was advertised as made of steel. I'm curious as to which part of it is steel, because the "planes" appear to be made of a plastic/vinyl, and the red ball is wood. The thread is basic thread (not picture hanging thread), so I cannot identify any steel components of this mobile.Of course, no one will know when it's hanging. It was really a let down out of the box. Unless the company gets back to me otherwise, I took a star off for that.The mobile is really visually engaging, and if you hang it where you play music, the vibrations/invisible sound waves do make it move as if there was a breeze, even in an area that has no air movement (i.e., when the heat/air is off and the windows are closed.I removed another star because the lowest plane often gets stuck inside the third one. This limits the overall movement of the piece. I can't figure out why this happens. If the company contacts me with clarity or information (maybe this particular one is a defect?) I will update this review.

Awesome mobile, moves beautifully, great to have in the room, highly recommend this one, I have the Futura one and like it too.

Always wanted one of these but never knew what they were called. I'm somewhat pleased, overall. I enjoy the look. However, there's an issue where two of the pieces touch and restrict each others movement. I don't have OCD -- but it concerns me. I was planning on getting the "Tango" in yellow or the "Futura" for another room...

Beautiful mobile, but doesn’t feel like plastic, or light steel,it seems more like cardboard. Not sure how durable it will be, but I am going to keep it.

Se ve elegante y sencillo, pero la calidad es muy baja. Son láminas de plástico muy finas que se deforman con el tiempo. Una lástima.

Très beau mobile. Un peu cher mais la qualité en vaut le coût. Le fil permet d’ajuster son mobile à la taille que l’on souhaite !Très contente de mon achat

Ich habe das Mobile verschenkt. Es kam soer bei dem Beschenkten an. Die Wings sind sehr gut austarriert. Im leichten Windzug bewegt es sich auch sehr anmutig. Nach nun längerer Zeit im Einsatz, kann man nun Staub drauf erkennen. Aber auch dass ist kein Problem, da es sich sehr gut trocken abwischen lässt. Überlege es azch für much selbst zu kaufen.
