I am very happy with these Winnwell Cut Resistant Hockey Socks. While I have been fortunate enough not to have to test the cut resistance I know they go through tough testing. I am comforted knowing I have the protection should something unfortunate happen.As for the fit and feel of the sock I am thrilled. Most of the in skate hockey socks I have worn have been very tough and had a lack of comfort. These socks are incredibly comfortable to wear. The seams are unnoticeable while wearing them. The softness and cushion is a welcome change from other socks I have owned. I would honestly wear these around the house as warm winter socks. Moisture wicking is good and I do not get overly hot.A few people have mentioned they are tight in the calf area. I have "normal" sized calves to maybe slightly small and I have no issues with them at all. If you had well developed calves maybe these could be a little tight. Maybe. I noticed in the included washing instructions they said to wash them on delicate. There is just no way I am doing that. These have had 5 normal cold washes and they look great still. Lastly on sizing, I am a 9.5 shoe and I ordered the medium. I am happy I did as they fit perfectly. These are great socks and I would buy them again.UPDATE 1/24/2025: I continue to love the comfort and quality of these socks. I highly suggest them to anyone looking for a great cut protection solution for your legs. I have washed them in cold water normal wash and dried them on low despite hand wash instructions. They still look good as new. I love these.

I wear a men's size 6D skate and choose medium socks. They fit pretty big. I should have gone with a size small. However, I can still wear these, and not only are they comfortable but they keep my feet warm too. My feet always get cold since I'm a goalie and must stand between plays. Also, note that I'm female and generally have smaller feet. I would definitely recommend these. Just be careful about the sizing. These are made for someone with wide feet.

Arrived very quickly in time for skating practice and they are extremely comfortable to wear. They slightly tightened my foot against the heel for a small bit of time, but that feeling went away when I adjusted to wearing them more often. Fits super snug against my leg and kept me warm throughout my practices with no issues. Feels great to wear and would highly recommend!

Thankfully, I haven't put these or any other socks I've worn to the test with regard to their cut resistance. They do feel like they have the ability to protect against skate blades, but that seems like something where the proof is in the pudding. I won't be finding out about the 'pudding' though. These socks are a good bit thicker than I'd anticipated, and I'm not comfortable with them on inside my skates. I understand the value of the cut resistance, but I've never actually bumped into that issue, either for myself or anyone else I know, and I just prefer a really thin sock with good sweat wicking to wear inside my molded skate boots.

I like these hockey socks a lot. I've been wearing them the last few weeks. They are soft and very dense in the ankle to calf area.Just a breathable as other socks, but the added protection "just in case" is nice as well.I wear a 11.5 shoe and a 9.5 skate. I got the large size and they fit great for me.

There's really nothing wrong with these, other than I prefer a shorter sock that doesn't go past the calf. That aside, these do everything you would expect a hockey sock to do.

Hockey can be a dangerous sport and as a parent, you try to provide your player with any and all safety measures possible to allow them to play the game they love as safely as possible. My player appreciates that this sock isn't an additional piece of equipment, simply just changed out the socks and safety features were added. They fit my teen player nicely, do not slip down, and remain in place throughout practices/skates. They are very well made. We wash in cold water jerseys, and hang to dry - good as new.

First the sock fit, I'm a size 9 in shoe and the socks state 10-12, however I think they fit me fine. The heel is right where I want it to be an I have no issue with the size, but I would likely be good with a size down as well.Secondly, the cut resistant material on the sock is great! I honestly believe it will provide critical protection. In fact when I was buying stakes a college player stated how he wears the cut resistant socks as accidents can accrue on the ice when playing.Thirdly, the sock is comfortable, feels good on my feet and in the skate. I would recommend these socks to anyone looking for a little extra protection who plays hockey.

Socks are worn for ice hockey and the fit and comfort is great. Moisture wicking seems to be good as well. Happy with purchase.
