I had ordered this for a very active, rambunctious 9 year old boy. We were advised by optometrist he would need an eye patch for his left eye. We had received the patches from our insurance company and he was not caring very much for those. We came on amazon to find something that we thought okay we will have to order a stock in these to hold up at the price it was.To be honest this has gone through it all with this little guy and it easy to wash, easy to use, its durability has amazed me. He LOVES it, it is exactly what he was looking for as the appearance of a pirate and the Style of the patch fits perfectly.For the value of the money, and how expensive things are now it is a great buy!I definitely suggest itIt is adjustable and we are grateful for thatThe stitching is upholding, just greatly made!

The strap placement made it an odd fit for my kid, and kind of uncomfortable. That said worked great as a cheap alternative for when he's out playing, and has a tendency to lose things.

Purchased this for my 5 month old as there is literally nothing marketed for babies besides patches and I didn’t want to use a sticky patch on his sensitive skin. It’s a little big but I can easily tie it with a hair tie to tighten it just a bit, it does the job and he looks super cute with it on

Slides off the head too easily. It’s good for patching for a lazy eye, but since my son can just flip it up to peek with his good eye, it’s not sufficient for helping him treat his left eye weakness.The patch itself is sturdy And soft enough to wear for extended periods, and the pirate design is cute too.

I got this year's ago for my son's pirate theme birthday. It is soft so it is easier to wear than the hard plastic ones I remember. It is also fun to put on stuffed animals!

We ordered one and returned it because as soon as we tried to put it on our son, the strap came off.The replacement was sent promptly, arriving the next day. Unfortunately, it was barely any better.The sewing on the left side was misaligned, so the strap was already unthreading before it arrived.Also, due to the placement of the strap, it sits directly on his brow line, which makes it uncomfortable for his “seeing†eye.Overall, he really wanted this pirate eye patch but it was not a good value. I kept it because it was more hassle to return it, but it has been collecting dust for a month.I ordered a different patch, shaped more squarely and with the strap situated higher up so as to not cause discomfort to the “seeing†eye. He loves it and wears it without complaint. We also use the orthopatch. Convenient. Clean. Cannot rave enough.In my opinion, don’t waste your money on this. Buy a different patch!

Bought this for my son for his astigmatism/lazy guy he is five years old and it definitely is more comfortable than the sticky patches has a adjustable band for his head and the material is very soft I wouldn’t recommend for younger children since they’re able to easily pull it up but he’s been wearing it every day for two hours highly recommend for kids who don’t like the stickiness of the traditional patch
