The assembly took well over an hour and was a bit frustrating trying to line up all 6 cam lock screws at the same time, however, I am very pleased with how it came out. It seems sturdy, looks great and the sticker some people are complaining about seems to have been moved to the bottom panel of the drawer. I chose to put it face down so it is not even visible if you open the drawer. Overall, very happy with the purchase. I plan on using it as a portable bar to bring to parties and events as it can fold up and is light enough to lift

I bought his piece in Feb 2011; after almost 14 years it was finally time to get a new one... it held together great through 3 big moves and looked great. I decided to go with a different style for my new place, but if they still build them like the used to, it's worth every penny.Definitely would buy from this manufacturer again.

Assembly was not as bad as some people claim. I was able to do it on my own. I have to agree you get what you pay for. There are portions of this bar made of flimsy plywood but the top is nice. If you plan to use it as a full time bar, I had to add L Brackets and a couple screws to hold the top down as it was a bit shaky. Other than that I cant complain.

I was worried about this purchase. Some folks who bought it were disappointed according to their reviews. But it was sent to me promptly with all parts included. It took about 3 hours to assemble - a bit complicated - but nothing unmanageable. For the price I'm telling you it's an excellent product - real wood parts for goodness sakes and looks fantastic. There are a few blemishes in the wood - but really very small and not noticeable. A touch up pencil solved that problem easily. Again I am very please and my friends are quite impressed - they can't believe how little I paid for it for the quality. My good friend loves to tend bar and he's anxious to host a party at my place and serve up drinks to folks from behind it. It can be a bit unstable perhaps on a thick rug but nothing insurmountable as far as I can tell. It works fine nestled against my wall or pulled out from the wall to look like a real bar. I bought some sliders to help me when I move it around or fold it up as well. Again I recommend it...

We are not novices at putting together furniture, but this is a horror. First, two screws stripped when trying to screw them into the top, the holes are not drilled properly so the included hardware does not work, the wine glass rack is uneven due to the holes not lining up properly. Trying to fit the pieces together to line up for assembly - don't even bother, they don't. It is too bad, I like the look of the bar and that you can configure it for full extension or fold the sides but if it doesn't go together due to manufacturing flaws, what good is it? As far as return, it is huge and heavy, and I can't imagine trying to get it to a shipper. Sadly, it was a gift for my husband's birthday.UPDATE: While I would have returned it (Amazon would have arranged UPS home pick up for return), my husband decided that he was going to accept the challenge and get it together. He did, although with different hardware, a drill, and lots of wood glue. It looks nice now that it is put together and seems sturdy with all the additional "help". I will amend my stars to 3 since he is pleased with it overall.

This is my 2nd time ordering furniture from mail order. I first need to say that I used to be in the construction business, the last home I worked on was over 30 million (Big Sky Montana) and they had 2 full time woodworkers there for 5 years during construction. So, that being said, I have seen wood working where there is zero tolerance for any imperfections. If you read my other reviews you'll find that I am picky about everything.1) Instructions: Good English and clear. If you have faith in them, and follow them step by step to the letter, you will be fine. If you think you can shortcut or improvise, you'll be sorry. 5 stars.2) Hardware: All the screws, cam-locks and tools are included except you do need your own medium Phillips screwdriver. 5 Stars3) Fit: Fit is pretty good. When completely put together, some of the folding parts rub on the underside of the top a bit much, but its not a huge problem: 4.5 stars.4) Wood Quality: Almost all of the wood is real wood. Some of the drawer elements are press-board but I wouldn't expect that to be different. 4 Stars.5) Finish: A few of the wood piece elements are harshly cut and stained over, but are not visible when completely assembled. The stain was applied with a sprayer and isn't even around other wood elements and corners. But I suppose hand rubbing stain in afterwords would have cost another $10 to $15 per unit. There is also a clear coat over the top and I have no issues with that. 3 Stars6) Shipping: The item arrived on time with no shipping damage and was brilliantly packed into the box. 5.5 StarsSo, if we are rounding up, it will have to be 5 stars overall. It took me about an hour to put together, I think for most people it might take up to two. This is more than what I expected in the unit, and I am very pleased with the purchase.*** Update 12/23/12 ***I have filled the drawers and filled the wine rack with bottles of Sparking Cider. The unit looks great and I am still 100% satisfied. The open slots on either side of the wine and glass center are perfect for storage of bar height stools.Generally speaking, my overall experience with buying furniture online at Amazon has been bad. Looks good,solid,easy to assemble did it alone.just one thing g there's a warning sticker be very careful when removing or else you will damage the finish,heat the sticker and take your time.

After reading the instructions a few times, this turned out to be easy to construct and I even managed the 2 person job by myself with some duct tape help. It went together easily, and looks stunning. Easily the most versatile unit for the price - I love that I can set it up in different ways to conserve space. The glass racks and shelves are generously sized (I think I have 4 wine and 8 martini glasses stored on the glassware racks).

It was difficult assembling the panels. One of the panels was not glued properly and I had to glue/clamp and assembled when it was dry. It was an easy fix for me, but might not be for others. All together it looks nice when it's assembled and is perfect for what we needed.

Great for small spaces and also when expanded. It looks very nice as a piece of furniture and as a wine bar. It was a bit of a challenge to put together and you need two people to work as a team, but well worth the money and delivery was quick and well packaged.

This bar took some time to assemble. It looked like it was going to look great. Unfortunately when I removed the sticker, it took the finish off the wood . Not worth the price, very poor quality as well. Took 2 people to assemble. Very cheap and wobbly. Extremely disappointed and a complete waste of money. I wish I has looked at the reviews better. This one is a nightmare.
