I love this product. I have a tv on a wall mount and the XBox in an entertainment center so the HDMI cable was hanging down. I am able to eliminate the HDMI cable now because this works extremely well transmitting from the XBox to the tv. It does require your tv have a USB port as well as the device transmitting. Setup was really easy. First plug the receiver into the tv/monitor and press the reset button to start pairing. Instructions on the display tell you when it is ready. You then plug the transmitter into the device sending and press the reset button on it. It should pair quickly and you are all done. This does come with a USB-C adapter in case your device does not have USB-A.

I was sick of always juggling wires for various devices, particularly whether I was putting together impromptu presentations at the office or indulging in an impromptu movie night at home. As a result, I made the decision to acquire this wireless HDMI transmitter and receiver. I believe that the claim of a 4K decoding at 1080P and 60Hz performance, in addition to the transmission range of 100 feet, immediately drew my interest. The idea occurred to me that this may be a plug-and-play solution that would be useful for my regular requirements. When I initially opened the box, I was a little concerned that it could be more difficult to put together than I had anticipated. To our great relief, the directions were easy to understand. The receiver was linked to the projector that I use at work, and the transmitter was connected to the HDMI connection on my laptop. It just took a few seconds for the connection to appear on the screen once both devices had been given some time to synchronize with one another. I believe that the statement of it being "plug and play" is quite true; it needed just a little amount of modification in order to get started. I tried the Wi-Fi range in the meeting room of my workplace by moving a few feet away, and it continued to show the slides without any lag. When you are able to depend on the gadget as you are moving about to interact with your audience, it is absolutely comforting.

My family and I started doing family nights and included in that was movies or streaming different shows. What I love about this HDMI transmitter and receiver is that I was able to plug this into my projector and then connect the other one to my TV. From there, we're able to play everything onto our projector. Even with it being a little chilly, we have a firepit and have been really enjoying family nights. Just recently, we set up a screen in our garage and was able to connect our XBox with our projector and play games with some family and friends. While the distance from our TV in our living room isn't too far from where we had the projector set up, it was still a good distance and we still had a great connection.
