I’d used some wireless HDMI transmitters many years ago without much success, at that time they couldn’t handle much bandwidth and certainly not much distance. At that time I was looking to transmit some basic low-res video. Fast forward to the current day and I acquired this wireless HDMI setup to transmit some camera videos from a computer and duplicate them on a video screen on the other side of the house. This transmitter / receiver pair does everything I need. It has HDMI in / out on the transmitter and 2 HDMI outs on the receiver so all you do is plug the HDMI from the computer in and another one to the original monitor. On the other end all I did was plug the HDMI out to my portable monitor and plug it in. It worked, everything worked with nothing else to do and not much else to say.One great additional function these devices have is kind of an IR passthrough for IR remotes. This allows you to use your IR remote at the distant location and have it transmit the signal to the device back at the transmitter. I did not get to test this functionality but given the overall performance I have no reason to doubt it will work as advertised. As stated these devices worked great for me, actually better than expected.

I tried this wireless HDMI extender kit for a weekend movie setup in the backyard, and it worked impressively well. Setting it up took me only a few minutes, even as someone who isn't particularly tech-savvy. The connection was stable even at about 100 feet, and the picture quality on the outdoor projector was crisp and smooth at 1080p. I also tested the IR functionality to control the setup box from a distance, which was a fun bonus feature—it worked without a hitch. The range claims up to 1300 feet, which I didn’t get the chance to fully test, but for my needs indoors and outdoors, it performed wonderfully. The loop-out feature came in handy when splitting the signal between two screens. It's nice to get a strong, clear signal without running a bunch of cables everywhere. If you’re looking for convenience with solid performance, this is worth considering.

Overall, this Wireless HDMI kit worked very nicely.â— Easy to connectâ— No software installation requiredâ— With clear lines, I was able to connect from opposite sides of the house between a laptop and a monitorâ— Latency was perfectly acceptable - I didn't notice anything significant after connectingâ— Capable of supporting gaming from a Switchâ— Provides support for IR blasting from source to remoteâ— Great compact size and has good quality designMy one wish is that it offered better resolution than 1920x1080P, but it certainly operates at its advertised specs with no hassles.Yes, I would recommend this to anyone who needs an easy wireless HDMI solution and doesn't require resolutions higher than 1080P.

This kit includes 1 transmitter and 1 receiver and does a great job at providing a low latency 1080p solution.I am using it with a Canon R5 having the transmitter and a 32inch monitor connected to the receiver which is on the other side of my studio. This allows guests and others that are waiting in the lobby to see the current shoot in progress in the studio.I will update this review if anything changes within 1 year. A 5-star rating indicates the product meets my expectations for its purpose.

EDIT: Lowering to 1 star. I just noticed Receiver/RX has a loose part, it rattles. This thing advertises that it passes through wall. In fact when you open the box there is a big note there saying that it can pass through wall. Unfortunately when I turned it on, it's not easy as turn on and ready to go, it took multiple tries for it to actually go through wall, literally the units have to be a few feet away from one another and this is sheet rock wall, can be cut with a box cutter, so if it' can't penetrate a thin wall, I doubt it will pass through a concrete wall. Also the delay is there, it's not as advertised 0.03 second, so your mileage may vary. It's not a bad unit just overstates things it can't do.
