How to use it ?

Step 1. Uncoil the cord from the spool, place the bait magnet (with a cord attached) through the place you need;

Step 2. Secure the cable (up to 10 mm ) to the eyelet attachment;

Step 3. Connect it with scout magnet together. Using the thumb grip, pull the cord through the wall;

Step 4. Pull the cable through the void with ease.

Tip:

It’s important to note that because of the strength of the magnet, you must keep it separate from your electrical testing equipment or anything affected by magnetism.

I was really disappointed with this magnetic wire puller. While the idea is great, the execution just doesn’t live up to expectations. The magnet is weak making it impossible to attract and guide the leader which defeated the whole purpose of making the job easier. In fact it made the process more frustrating than it should have been.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this tool. It’s not nearly as effective or durable as I hoped, and I ended up buying a stronger magnet to pull wires, which was far quicker and less stressful. Definitely not worth the money.

This thing is not magnetic pretty much at all. Don't waste you money. Itbhardly moves and magnet can handle tectonic it.

A little better than nothing. Maybe not strong enough like I mentioned. Yeah what you pay for $10 versus 160 it's worth $10. That's about it

Item does not work well, it does not have a strong magnetic force to work through drywall so it was a pointless purchase.

I knew this was a cheap magnetic wire fish set when I ordered it but thought I'd give it a tray anyway. It comes with some nylon string, a bar magnet, a disc magnet, a pulling magnet. some threaded adapters for the magnets and a snap ring.The magnets are only strong enough to grab if they're no more than 3/4" apart, and if there's any obstacle at all they separate easily. It would work OK to pull the line through pipe but not for very far because the string itself would generate too much resistance. In an actual wall you'd have to get very lucky to get this to work properly.
